Well, everyone, this is my first attempt at a signature -- ever -- so I could REALLY use some harsh criticism. :thumbsup:

As said above, please criticize! :peace:

I think it looks great. Very professional looking.

Well, thanks! That means a lot! Really. :')

one suggestion i would have is to use a soft eraser and erase the scanlines that are covering the knight. then he'll stand out more and it would give it a layered look

:thumbsup:

I took your advice, and upon erasing the scanlines, I found that the border was too awkward, so I switched it to a multi-coloured border that I think works a bit better for the piece. Here's what I came out with.

Well, it was meant to be a reflection of sorts, but I pondered giving it a bit less opacity. I'll keep toying with it. Thanks, mate!

^^;

Thanks! I have some other renders I'd like to fiddle with, but I'd like to "perfect" this one for now.

Very nice job. :thumbsup:

Thank you very much!

Very nice, much better than I could do.

Thank you! I promise, though, it's a lot easier than it looks. I just messed around, especially on the background, and saw what came out! =]
im glad that erasing thing worked out well for you. next we'll work on opacity of the scanlines and then text :thumbsup:

My text skills are VERY, VERY weak (as are my photoshop skills in general), so I need all the help I can get in that respect. ^^

I feel like I can reach out and touch it....

Very old worldish.....

Looks like an old pacman game monitor....DOH!! :thumbsup:

I am working on the opacity of the caption and the scanlines to make it a more solid signature. Thank you, and I'll see what more fiddlin' around does!

I like the blending of the render that's nice for a first time.

I don't like scanlines but that's a personal thing.

Good job and how can it not be with Boja helping you? :thumbsup:

If I could get a filter or something that would make the signature a bit more... noisy (but not in the way the filter>noise does), I would definitely use it over scanlines!

Thanks though, Klink!

Sorry for double-post here, but I've been working on a new signature for both personal gain and for a buddy who is a fan of Silent Hill.

I'd like to get opinions on this sig as well as the other.

*** Due to the slightly risque nature of the monster portrayed (albeit, nothing in comparison to some/most of the things on TV), I am simply linking as opposed to [ IMG ] coding. ***

Note: I am unhappy with the text placement, and, as this is still a partial WiP (Work in Progress), suggestions are gratefully accepted. Also, as I've had people ask already, the background was, indeed, made from scratch. [with the help of grunge brushes and whatnot, of course]

Thanks for all your help, everyone.. it makes a photoshop-nub feel good. ><;

Good job I like it. I dont do sigs so I cant help you out any. Second one looks good also.

Thanks everyone! -Blush.-

I'll definitely keep working on sigs in particular -- if you have any suggestions (with future works as well), ESPECIALLY, with text, please feel free to throw ideas at me 'cause I need all the help I can get. =]
