Posted January 5, 200718 yr This is a pretty neat website I found just while surfing, it lets you look back at what websites used to be like a long time ago. The site is called web archive, you can see past versions of the Armory here... www.fa-thearmory.com (our first domain name) and www.fa-thearmory.org (2nd domain name) and also www.fa-thearmory.net (3rd domain name) and also, www.the-armory.net and lastly, www.thearmory.cc (present) Edited June 8, 20205 yr by Gator

January 6, 200718 yr Nice find Sharp65 ...wow, it shows my early days of designing the website (with the exception of Unflushable's header image, of course). Thanks Sharp65, I really enjoyed that.
January 7, 200718 yr Yup, so much has changed over the years. It's great to see how much "we" TAC have grown.

December 31, 200717 yr Call me a noob, but what is a necropost? Is it a Klinkism or an actually term? its an actual term its where a thread is dead (ie no one posted for months or years) and than someone brings it back
December 31, 200717 yr its an actual term its where a thread is dead (ie no one posted for months or years) and than someone brings it back http://web.archive.org/web/20030211061123/http://www.fa-thearmory.org/ I remember that time, I left to start up DW's North American FA division for CAL, FAL and one other league. At that time, if my memory serves me right, my friend Sentinel and I were trying to get that going and having issues with Macgyver which resulted in my only ever ban from a Half Life server (which was partially my fault, I had a tad bit of a naughty spray image) Also, that was during the time of the "helmet exploit" controversy. I miss those days, the arguments were insanely funny. Good times
January 1, 200817 yr Kamikaze, It has been a long time :o I actually remember all that stuff ...well kind of. I cant believe it has been so long ago. I was trying to find some of my old post from 2002. I think I joined up like Aug or Sept 2002..sometime in there anyway.
January 4, 200817 yr Cool. Thanks Sharp. For some reason it makes me remember Barbara Streisand, lol. Guess why.
April 1, 201015 yr Wow, it's beed 8 years ago since I started the website. If you want to see what the Armory website looked liked, check it out. (I think the first link is broke)
April 1, 201015 yr Holy crap, I forgot all about C-D, and the helmet discussion on the first page still brings shouts of "HELM CAMMING" to my ears. Ah, Firearms :peace: Great work though, Gator. You've done a great job and I think I speak for everyone when I say we appreciate your commitment to this place.
April 2, 201015 yr good times as always, makes me think of the work ive done in the past. a lot of it was with php nuke.
April 7, 201015 yr As Spock once said on Jim's birthday, "there were good times and there were bad, but I'd gladly do them all over again with you." Appreciate the good times, learn from the bad Thanks for many good times
April 7, 201015 yr I know I am relatively young, or at least I don't are to get any older, but I was around then. So young and so naive. It has been some good times. Glad to see it still kicking.
