I'm curious about what your favorite assault gun is. Post up which one you prefer the most AND WHY.

I'm trying to get 15 or so hours of assault right now for my gold assault badge and I've been using the voss almost the entire time. It's a very accurate gun and I just seem to use it well. I've tried the baur but don't really like it, it has a lot of recoil and seems to work best on single shot.

Anyways, I actually prefer the krylov. I unlocked the Baur first and loved it for medium-long range encounters. However, in up close battles, I would get owned. The Voss is exceedingly good at short range but useless at long and only moderate at medium.

 

Meanwhile, I'm an accurate enough shooter that for me the Krylov is deadly in short range and pretty good at long range (can land shot after shot on single shot mode). Seems to be the best compromise for me.

I like the Baur the same why I like the Ganz. Bigger caliber bullets. And I'm good with both.

Voss FTW. just because the baur is all over the place pluse it only holds 20 rounds.

I vote Voss. I love it for medium and short range encounters. Rockets for long range.

I voted Voss because I hate to reload. I go on single shot outside the Titan where the Voss loses it's edge to the Baur, q but inside the Titan, the extra rounds on full auto is a godsend.

Voss. My strategy, as many bullets as possible as fast as possible. Thankfully this gun is accurate as well. I'm sure my taste in weapons will mature as my skill level increases.

Voss. Baur has let me down too many times. Either through lack of clip capacity or terrible recoil. I do move between the Baur and Voss often, but I tend to move back to the Voss out of frustration with the Baur. Rockets for long range as well.

I do have to say; I used the voss with incredible results on Cerbere landing last night. I'm going to have to use it more I think.

Voss, The more bullets the better. Seems to work well for me.

I love the stopping power of the Baur, and it seems to reload significantly faster than the Voss. However, due to the Voss's low recoil, great fire rate, and huge clip... I get much better results with it up to medium range. It does too little dps at long range to get into a sniping contest with anything except a Lambert or another Voss. I usually depend on rockets at long range.

 

I'm getting kinda bored with the Voss, but having difficulty mastering the Baur. I'm thinking of going back to the SCAR for a bit. I did awesome with that weapon while I used it, but that was before things like APM's and Nades were a dime a dozen.

dead roach single fire is the way to go with the baur try that and see how it feels,

Anyway, I like the 20 round Baur because it is one of the few guns that feel like a 1 shot kills to me..... Also, Contrary to most belive the Support Heavy gun unlock is good because it IS one shot kill in the head or like 2 hits on the chest, but the Clark is a must have for anyone.

It's the PAC default assult gun.

 

I voted Voss because I unlocked it way, way back when the game came out (I remembered using it in the beta and loving it.) I even told numerous clan members over vent "unlock the voss, it won't dissapoint," and alot of people who I told about it loved it and still use it. Lately though, I've been using the Baur just for a change of pace. I do like the stoping power of it and if I'm on a role at the time, I'm a force to be reckoned with. I'm starting to like both guns equally, but I still have a spot for the Voss at the top.

Problem with putting the Baur in singleshot, is I get owned vs a Voss in close up fights. It's easier for me just to run around with a Voss on auto.

 

Zarken, the Best Buy gun is the SCAR... 11 I think? Whereas the default EU gun is the SCAR 10. Best Buy gun handles nicely, got to use it one time. But I hated how it took up half the screen.

 

Voss definatly has a low learning curve, real easy for peaple to master. That's why it has a huge following.

I completely disagree with the sniping thing. I'll miss a lot of long range single shots with the voss that I make with the Baur.

In any case, I'm using the voss a lot more now on smaller conquest maps and when I'm assaulting a titan. Other than that, the Baur or the Krylov is better suited.

as long as they are call "BOOM" sticks.... it's allright with me....

in close range i perfer the startin weapon w/e that is for the extra 10 bullets so i dont hav to reload as much and the unlock one (not the mediec one) for longe range and titan.
