ill get it later, alot of reviews say they are alot of bugs in it still. also sound cards dont work with vista.
I think i will buy a complete new pc with vista installed. Like myself my pc is a little old.
Mac.........nuff said! but i'll have to deal with this bee hive operating system, just because :-(
If you installed any of the betas and submitted at least one bug report, you received a free copy of RTM, wish I knew that before :)
I'll probably get it sometime later in the year or next year. I don't have any use for a new OS now, XP works just fine for what I need. I'll probably get it when I upgrade/rebuild my gaming pc.
I know I'll eventually have to get it, so when I build my new machine this year, I'll be building it and choosing componates based on Vista and it's DirectX 10 in mind. This probably means I'll have to deal with alot of bugs, but I guess it's better to just get it over with. Hopefully in the next 2 or 3 months they'll shake out the major bugs.
I'm gonna wait till I start attending at Purdue in the fall. They've got XP for like 15 bucks there and I'm hoping they'll have Vista for cheap too.
I wasnt very impressed with when i had it installed on my comp from before, and i dont plan on using it for anything specific for atleast a year from now. Im happy with XP, it finally works.

i got a free copy of vista enterprise from school, so i wont be 'buying it'

i knew there was a reason i was giving them those thousands of dollars.

Yeah, want to wait till the DX10 hardware is out a while. Then I plan to build a comp to vista specifications. I will start a thread about it later. My current system could only handle the minum requirements. I saw a clip on yahoo videos it looked ok. I do subscribe to four comp mags and have avoided all the reviews. But the swap is inevitable. With microsoft resistance is futile.
I'll get Vista when i build my new PC

same here. that'll be a year or two from now though
I think i will wait until Apple releases its dual boot program that will support Vista before I upgrade. Then again with all the hackers out there, I might just wait to see how swiss Microsofts newest offering is before I bite.
