I’m sorry to say we will be ending the Closed Beta today. From this evening we will be removing the booster pack entitlement from your accounts.

 

With regard to stats, we will be carrying out a partial wipe during tomorrow’s maintenance period. Basically you will be able to keep any vanilla awards and points you earned, but all Northern Strike awards, unlocks and badges will be removed. If you spent any vanilla unlock credits on booster pack unlocks these will be returned to you, but any booster unlock credits spent on vanilla unlocks will be removed.

 

I wanted to say a big thank you to all of you for your efforts and for your feedback. I will finish off collating all the results and forward them to DICE for their consideration. There are some good ideas and suggestions in there and I know the designers are keen to read through them.

 

As a final parting shot we have a limited number of free copies of the booster pack to give away. The way these will be distributed will be via a draw from a list of those of you who have contributed the most to the Closed Beta. The winners will be notified in due course.

 

I hope you have all enjoyed getting a first taste of the Battlefield 2142: Northern Strike booster pack as much as we have enjoyed having you take part.

 

Once again, a huge thank you for helping us to improve Battlefield both now and in the future.
