If one day an EMP frys all the eletrical systems in New York, what the hell are they gonna do for the next few weeks.

People there need to start to learn that books are a good way to pass the time.

All over the news, they got interviews with people in New York, and they're like "Oh, we're just sitting around drinking warm beer because there's nothing else to do....ho hum"

jeez...

It doesn't mean that New Yorkers are less intelligent. I bet there were plenty of people reading books, hanging out with loved ones in the park. Or spending time in a bar, or any other place making new friends. Every New Yorker expanded their social intellect last night. There were plenty of things that didn't make the papers or News.

Yes, i know it is terrible there. Come to us communists.

PS I laugh at 2 houses and 3 cars.

Actually the power didn't go out by lightning, there was a huge surge due to an overload of power. That's why they're telling people to unplug their air conditioners, turn off computers, etc. I don't listen :p
Yes, communist die, cos China keep Hong Kong island in capitalist form for buissness and trades. All poor countries try to keep communist (all have the same money every month : not a cents more, not a cents less whatever his job) to keep theyr peoples onto theyr hands and also take this people affraid on....It's that i learned at school between 1970 until today.Egidio.
I saw an old episode of Star Trek (the 60s version) the other day where an old captain from Earth was on another planet and he turned their government into the Nazi government and it worked until some evil person drugged him up and then made a puppet of him so the evil person who control the country and basically do what the Nazis did.

unfortunately, this technology still doesn't catch spelling errors.
How couldn't you go a few days without power? It isn't hard. P.S. I am not a real fan of the Americans, they give us a cow with mad cow and then shut off the borders? Something just doesn't add up... NOTE: Don't change the subject because I said this.
Oh no, a few days without power in the summer... I remember a few years back, there was some sort of "blizzard" of "ice" that left a lot of people in Quebec without power, in the winter, with no way to warm themselves. They were out of power for a long time, and a lot of people had to leave their homes. America sent us assistance. That's how bad it was. If anyone knows anymore about that time, feel free to add, I'm not sure all the numbers and such.
