August 18, 200322 yr Hey, just wondering if anyone here plays D&D (Dungeons and Dragons, a table top/penicl and paper game that came way before Diablo, Ultima, or Pong).I play alot of D&D and was wondering if anyone else did. I know Okibi does. My dad introduced D&D to me when he found a big cardboard box full of campaign books and manuals and his old characters (from his earlier days). I also recently bought this Oriental Adventures manual which adds all these Shogun-era classes like samurais, wu jens (wizard like people), and Shejaukas. It also adds loads of new monsters, weapons, and armor. Honor and Clans also come into factor. You must assign your character to one of the clans and give him a base level of honor. I was also wondering if anyone else plays one of my favorite RPGs, Neverwinter Nights (a cookie goes to anyone who can make the connection between the two games).I got a lvl 3 barbarian named Val Jeanu. Maybe, if anyone else has it, we could online sometime :PI really think they should release an Oriental Adventures-like expansion for NWN.So, please replie all you true rpgers!
August 18, 200322 yr Yes, i have NWN. I have Lvl16(?) Warrior. Too abd you cant go over 20.As for connectivity, ive seen it done 3 times (on 3 tries). Its very simple.I dont play D&D thoough, Never had the time and besides you should start young, and when i was young enough we were still living under the better regime.
August 18, 200322 yr Author ya, my compu just got formatted so my awesome lvl 15 barbarian got deleted...got start from anew...
August 18, 200322 yr Is neverwinter nights available for download or do I have to fork up some dough and go but it?
August 19, 200322 yr NWN is in the D&D Forgotten Realms Campaign setting. It's a city near the Sword Coast. And it's also one of the largest cities on the Coast, even Dritzzt was there for awhile. Anyway, 3.5 is out now and it's awesome. I'm a big D&D fan, and I play alot. The Oriental Adventures setting is ok....not my favorite cause it has alot of problems but it's still fun to play those characters. You should really try the Forgotten Realms campaign setting.....it's rockin'.
August 19, 200322 yr yes i played about 20 years ago ,i was an expert dungon master,, that was a long time ago, times have changed and so have the games aaahhhhhh to be young again

August 19, 200322 yr Author NWN is in the D&D Forgotten Realms Campaign setting yay! cookie for you!!! I've also played with the 3.5 rules. they are pretty cool. I also like how people who play NWN are recreating some of my favorite modules and stuff. It's great to see some modules (I've seen the Temple of Elemantal Evil and Return to the Temple of Elemantal Evil online once and a while).
August 19, 200322 yr grr.....for some reason i hate the people at my school who play it....they always think their better then other people......no offense to any one here. i just dont lie the people at my school.

August 19, 200322 yr Yep.For some reason I just didn't like being a dragon or knight or anything like that... no RPG's for me.
August 19, 200322 yr I used to play, last time I moved though, they wouldn't let me into the game... it had like 10 people anyways... sometimes 15 (CRAZY, they needed like 2 DM's)Now that I've moved again, I can't find anybody who plays it much, but I'm probably going to get into a game soon... most people here play Vampire.I've also played a little bit of the old D6 system of Star Wars... good stuff.I'm usually playing Warhammer 40k, sometimes a game the Warhammer folks make called Inquisitor, and I'm gettting into Confrontation. I'm big into painting minis and I usually have the coolest looking character... unless I painted somebody elses
August 19, 200322 yr Author most people here play Vampire I really wanna try the table top Vampire games, what with the new Vampires The Masquerade Bloodlines game coming out. I also play Mechwarrior Dark Age. I got the MadCatII which OWNS every other mech (it can get hit 15 times and still deal out the badass damage)
