Posted May 23, 200718 yr I saw this on another forum that I go to and, being a big fan of food myself, I decided to spread the question. What is your favorite food(s)? Post a picture, too, if you can find one! Mine are as follows: Grape Leaves http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/7/70/Armeniadoma.jpg Kibbeh (this is as close a picture as I could find to how my Ma makes it) http://www.foodtv.ca/DMM/K/I/Kibbeh_003.jpg and tabbouleh http://www.cookingwithkristina.com/uploaded_images/tabbouleh-796950.jpg All of these are mediterranean/middle eastern foods... the best food in the world!
May 24, 200718 yr A large steak (medium - medium rare), mashed potatoes (creamy and not from a box!), and green beans or any sort of green. A good loaf of bread (there's a bakery in Sonoma that has excellent bread) to top it off. Perhaps with a good beer if I feel like it. Sort of like this... http://www.sisterspantry.com/Images/new%20steak%20dinner.jpg
May 24, 200718 yr To start, Parma ham, over heated pears with fresh stilton melted on top, with crisp green leaf salad to the side. Spaghettini, with fresh crab meat dressed in a lemon, bazil, chili and olive oil dressing, afterwards with fresh chocolate eclairs with fresh cream
May 24, 200718 yr Author Please disregard Shotty... I think we all know what they say about the English's food just playing shotty. I don't know wth stilton is, but seafood is teh yuck.

May 24, 200718 yr A good rare steak, baked potato with butter and sour cream, and a side salad. Then you definitely have crab legs as my second favorite, then Lasagna is my third favorite, but I dont get it that often. Oh heck, I basically like anything, I'm not a fussy person. Well, I do hate butternut squash or any kind of squash but summer squash. EWWW!!!!
May 24, 200718 yr I like mediterranean food. That has gotta rank about 2 or 3 for me. I really like hummus with the bread and shrimp kabob, but my favorite is probably cajun food. ooooh yea, gimme shrimp or crawfish etouffe mmmm, gumbo.
May 24, 200718 yr Spetsatino di manzo with polenta is one of my favorites. A good med-rare steak would be a nice alternate. I also enjoy gnocchi with bolognese sauce.
May 24, 200718 yr Well I am in Afghaanistan and the food so far sucks!!! well i guess it is flown in from hundreds of miles away so ...... maybe i should try the local food..... Nope dont want to get sick! ill stick to Mexican food when I get back to the border! Tucson, AZ that is!

May 24, 200718 yr Please disregard Shotty... I think we all know what they say about the English's food just playing shotty. I don't know wth stilton is, but seafood is teh yuck. Stilton is bluecheese, and i am a little towards gourmet chef, so i try my hardest to diversify my food a little bit.. and yeah, english food is bland and boring.. but american food is blander and more boring than ours..
