September 6, 200322 yr Haggis sounds like something your grandma would throw up and feed to the family
September 6, 200322 yr Haggis is the sheeps stomach, stuffed with it's other organs, then boiled. Usually kidneys, liver, brain, along with some veggies. It tastes ok...looks disgusting, and the texture is awful.
September 7, 200322 yr i went to Scotland this summer, loved it. Better than the rest of the UK IMHO. Though Snowdon park in Wales gave it a run fors it money. I was up near Glasgow and Inverclyde (is that a county or a town), it was drop dead beautiful. I ate haggis (and some damn good beef) while i was in Scotland, it was some good shizzle. Looked kind of like scrapple but tasted a lot better. BTW, i come from Carlisle, PA, and I passed by our town's namesake while in Scotland.
