I see Phrogg do this and I seen Thomaspc do this yesterday and every now and then someone else does it.

I can't shoot them! They are like a ninja or something. How do you do it? They can run around, they prone or squat and jump or something and then knife you. Or we can totally be defending the titan core and they ninja into the core and RDX everything, WTF!!!!??? I am gonna pull my hair out!

What are your tips to ninja around?

I just reread my post and it doesn't make much sense lol.

It is some 'routine' it seems like the advanced players have. I can't really figure it out, but they are definitely running around, going prone, possibly jumping or crouching. It makes them really hard to hit, and doing this they can sneak into the core easily, or just come up to your face and knife you because they are so hard to hit.

I have been trying something like this lately, but I don't know if it is helping me any lol. Phrogg and Thomaspc have it down though.

lol, yea i learned it from Phrogg to try to go prone when knifing someone because he always did it on me to knife me. I remember knifing you yesterday in the titan. all you have to do i keep changing stances and not going in a straight line towards them, and if you must, you might have to jump over them in order to knife them, like in case they have a shotgun or something, thanks for the compliment. i think i only knifed you 6 times in the one match this morning

sorry if i get this wrong but i think the top 5 knifers in the Armory are

1.Phrogg

2.impact2oo

3.ThomasPC

4.Pfc weihe

5.Phxtravis

Norcalxx would be 5th, but hes not a clan member yet, and phxtravis would be 6th

so if you wanna learn how to have crazy "ninja skills" ask one of them

yeah yeah bla bla the big knives, Murd3r3r don't worry those guys have been running around naked with their knives sticking out LOL, for a very very long time, hence their player stats if you want to have a look at them. I would recommend some of the knifing/lessons on the youtube, and you will understand the jumping or the prone and side knifing effectiveness. Cheers

haha thats a good one Dan, yes youtube has some neat knifing 101 videos, i learned very little from it but if you want to learn some basic stuff, youtubes the place for you:cool:

pfft...I knife better than all of you :D

But anyways...tips.

Doesn't matter where you hit them, its an instant kill. So aim for the easiest spot.

Try to avoid their line of sight for as long as possible.

Generally go for people of lower rank.

Use tools, ex: camo/portable uav

Time a charge at somebody when they are: reloading, preoccupied, not looking in your direction anymore, sniping.

Follow an enemy squad in a titan and wait for them to bunch up at the hallway entrances.

Facing somebody else with a knife out:

-force him to make a mistake, then kill them

-choose between defensive/offensive depending on their style

-have your own "move"

-ping is nice to have on your side

Yup, that is pretty much all I can think of right now that I don't want to reveal all of my little secrets. :D

BLAH BLAH BLAH, who needs tips on when to knife?!

Listen here!, no matter what the situation is, ALWAYS GO FOR THE KNIFE! I DO NOT CARE IF HE IS FIVE MILES AWAY FROM YOU SNIPING AT YOU, YOU GO FOR THAT KNIFE KILL!

i agree with you with most of those but i dont use the camo usually because the sound of it can give you away, and whats the fun of going for noobs, i would go for the best, like if i see a lt. general on a server i ask em to be on my friend list so i can join w/e server their on so i can get their tags, as for a support guy just dodge his bullets until his gun overheats and then move in for the kill
One of the things that gets me about knifers is that they do not care about the spawn points. Mainly they want knife kills and do not try to get flags. I have been on the losing side several times with a bunch of knifers that allowed us to lose all our spawn points. I am sure you guys don't do this but it makes the play difficult if you are the only one worrying about spawn points.

Knifing...is a way of life.
Knifing...is a way of life.

I am sure it is, I just like to play a satisfying game where we don't lose to begin with because everyone is trying to knife everyone else at the expense of spawn points. :( :D

Only a noob would bring a knife to a gun fight...

j/k... :)

The way of the Phrogg is deadly indeed...

The best knifing video on YouTube!

EDIT: Stupid youtube link...

lol, this is what I do when I do not want to play but have nothing better to do

I probably have 3 dozen server bans from various knife servers :)

haha that shotgun one is hilarious but thats why you dont run straight at the guy, i would love to be in that APC then lol, i bet those guys were throwin their keyboards against the wall and tryin to strangle themselves with the mouses and stuff, lol, yea i went into a knife server once with a sniper rifle and demopacks since friendly fire was off and i surrounded myself with demopacks and apms, and sniped them when they were trying to knife each other, and when they came to try to knife me i blew em up. haha it was hilarious

I earned my Collector's Gold the legit way. No knifing servers for me.

Although the camo unit became my best friend.

I really liked the video. I get the idea that this person was not too popular on a knife only server.... :)

I don't use the camo unit or the portable uav.

Just the me the knife and the good ole ribbit hacks!!!

RIBBIT!!!
