Maybe because their names are short?

I usualy got by uniform, took me awhile to get used to all of them but I have it handled....mostly. I still can get "confused" when teams get swapped. On a side note, I am always getting shot by teamates that seem to shot regaurdless of uniform and name. They just seem to shoot anyone facing them.

I just shoot at whatever is in front of me. especially on city maps. It is susch a cluster you dont even have time to see what is going on most of the time

I tried to reply once already, internet went down. I usually shoot teammates when they suddenly appear in front of me. I usually miss but if I do kill them I revive them and say "sorry". So if it was me, "Sorry".

usually kill by outfit, unless they are far away, then ill kill by name.

I usually watch em just a little while unzoomed.Most of the time team mates have the tag over their head to begin with, so if it doesn't pop up instantly it's lights out. Sometimes i use uniform, but usually i forget what time i am on and that don't work out too well >.<

i used to look for the name but after i started looking at the uniform color, my tk's went down and kills per death ratio improved. i always look at what side/uniform my teammates have and shoot the other color. you'll be able to get off your shots faster.

 

one thing with the uniforms, if you're on eu and pick up a pac kit (ie. the krylov for assault), it messes up some of the uniform color but overall, the gray vs. black thing works. same thing if you're pac and pick up an eu kit.

I've seen EU colors on a guy that had a PAC jacket. I was EU at the time and he was definately on my team. I wonder if that was intentional or a bug. It would make sense if it's intentional because the opponent's armor is part of their kit.

I still wish the soldier would have a red or blue glow around them. Or even the enemy would glow red. If the mines and APM can tell enemy from friend so can the hud display a glow around enemy soldiers.

LOL I put a few rounds in you the other ngiht, I had my sights on someone and started firing away, then you run in front of me and kill him...I stopped shooting and pulled out the med kit, but I was cussing you the whole time...

I try to "shoot" as many enemies as possible, I will not simply "pass them" like lots of peole do. Even if I don't kill them, I wound them and ultimately help the team. Plus I get annoyed when I get killed by someone(insert phroggs name here) who walked pass many of my "teammates."

first i look at map. i use the "enemy spotted" radio thingy alot. it keeps them on my radar for a little longer. long enuff for me to stalk them. usually when i haf 1 target on my sight i ignore everything else for that 1 kill. its usually the easiest.

 

2nd, if my commander wont supply us with as many UAV's as possible, or my teamates aren't around to spot them for me, i shoot any player with no name/red name above his head. sumtimes theres some bug where the green/blu name above ur teammates head doesnt show. thats when i get teamkills. or like i get emp'd and my teammate runs up infront of me and i cant see the name clearly. i just fire (eat unintentional shotty gamb!).

 

when theres an enemy btween me and a teammate (shows enemy with green/blue name ontop), thats when i try to spot them by uniform. but uknow...u switch teams every game. confusing sometimes.
