Anyone experience constant CTD's with Titan?

Featured Replies

For the past month or two I have continously experienced CTD's(crash to desktop) while trying to play titan, happens EVERYTIME during a map change and sometimes happens randomly. Has anyone else had this problem? Have a fix? I am going to uninstall and delete all 2142 files and see it that works, I have already reinstalled it once(but didn't delete the files) and it didn't help. I have read that it may be a driver issue with creative, so maybe I will clear the X-Fi drivers(anyone know how?) and remove the card. Then reinstall the card and Dl the latest driver. Anyone have any suggestions? I would hate to waste so much time on this and it not help.
reinstalling a x-fi card wont do anything just install newest drivers if you keep having problems with ctd after reinstall bf2142 then just do a clean install of xp or vista
my computer freezes on every other game mode other then conquest and eve some maps on conquest! i can only play the maps the ARMORY server plays so thats why its so convienent! Ive tried reinstalling does nothing :D
I started uninstalling every single program that I never used. I deleted a bunch of crap, I ran msconfig and only ran programs that I needed. I ran disk error check overnight and then defragged, ran adaware and spybot and did a few other routine maintenance and I greatly reduced the CTDs, although it still does it but noticeably not as much.

I uninstalled the game, deleted everything with "2142" in its name and then reinstalled it. Works fine now, runs a lot smoother!
