Personally I think this is/will be a mistake. One thing it will do is create a "cop-out" so people can blame it on an "addiction."

Use EA downloader so there is no disc to be released from the parents library lol.

That sucks in your situation. I can see them wanting you to do other things than PC or T.V. but the force method rarely works and only causes resentment.

yea that would be good if i didnt have to sign in at the time i get on the computer

Nothing about WOW or any other game will better your life. They are all fun but they are all a waste of time. So in closing yeah I play games but not for 8 hours or more a day for days on end. That to me is way too much and a waste of my life. I could be doing a lot of better and more fun things than videogames almost everytime I play them! I mean I play soccer I play volleyball, I hike, I run, I enjoy music, swimming and playing with my niece and nephew. Think about all the things you could be doing instead of gaming the next time you spend 10 hours straight in front of a computer screen and dont accomplish anything other than advancing to another rank or beating the next level! LOL Really will that better your life. If you say yes than you have a pretty boring life I think! nothin wrong with a couple hours here and there I play sometimes everyday for an hour or two but 12 or more everyday ^$ that is insane LOL.

MMORPGs can teach you things, like interaction with others and being a team player and such. its all about perception.

I think everyone is trying to get a big lesson from this. There isn't one. It's fun to pretend it gets us out of our daily mundane lives. It can help us get away from the tedium of day-to-day life for a bit.

It's to what degree it exists. If you don't shower, don't do anything else, get fat, lose friends...etc. well duh that isn't healthy. Addictions are as varied as possible. The real question is why are they doing it.

Good point Doc. Who cares if your addicted to videogames if you still shower, have friends, blah blah etc. etc....but if your putting off all things just so you get to the next level in a game or rank up or w/e, that means your addicted.
