Some people were getting a little confused on the scoring system, your round score doesn't update instantly. Once you die, it will add the points you get from kills if you got any. I think teamkills will automatically deduct points instantly. This game is a lot of fun once you get used to it, people who like to go rambo will have a hard time. You need to pay attention to the uniform so you don't go on a tk'ing spree.

Found this on the forums, some good stuff for the first patch.

So, here's a few things you guys can expect to see fixed in upcoming versions. Of course, this list will be modified sporadically based on community input.

  • Fix all client and server-side crashes
  • More clear way to navigate maps and find your squad/objectives
  • Fix M249 not reloading
  • Team and Squad Selection User Interfaces
  • Character Customization
  • Improved Voice Commands
  • Lots and lots of bug fixes
  • Optimization

Also another thing I wanted to mention, we never really tested INS on 32 player servers (because of lack of active testers) so obviously things will come up playing on servers of this size that we didn't expect. We'll try to get this all sorted, but in the meantime I highly recommend the following to server admins:

  • Make server sizes smaller! INS was designed for 16 player servers not 32!
  • Lowering the amount of people required to capture an objective might be a good temporary remedy for gameplay. Server admins can do this without a code upday by going into the /maps/ folder, going into each .imc2 file with notepad, and lowing the "reqpercent" of each objective. This will probably make INS a little more fun until the patch arrives.
  • Take advantage of your ability to modify imc2 files server-side! It allows Server Admins to have a little bit of creative control on how the gameplay is on their server http://forums.insmod.net/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif

Keep on blastin' away!

they never tested 32 players? shame. i played on a low pop server, and to be honest it just didn't feel as involved as the 32 player ones.
I thought that they were going to make it so that you could use anything to rest your gun on for stability, in essence kinda having a semi-bipod for every weapon. What happened to that?
I think it depends on the map, usually if you see sandbags you can deploy your bipod. But some maps you can to go prone.
good game...pretty solid for a beta1 release. I think they are going to have to do something about the TKs and after that and the crashes are worked out I bet these guys will make money off this game just like CS and DoD. It reminds me of a cross between America's Armory and BF2 with that HL2 feel. I like it but you can get smoked fast!
