Well yesterday after i finished playing, i was very happy coz i unloked the Voss and with that and the sniper riffle im very happy. So i started to do a road map of the unlocks i want and which one i want the most you know. And then i realized i can get lotsa unlocks throw badges, and i saw the NS ones. They are very easy to get for a free unlock. So 10 bucks to play on diferent maps for a couple of days and get the 6 unlocks is worth it?
yea i think its worth it, although some members may disagree, its about less then a buck per unlock, and they are pretty cool, the maps in my opinion are cool, the soldier outfits change with the maps so its pretty fun to play on them, new vehicles arent too bad either, there is a another thread about the NS upgrade, you should check that out as well

yea i saw it but they where talking about a second booster vs a expansion and most of the people where saying NS crash a lot and stuff like that, i dont care about the bugs, i just want to know your opinion about the unlocks being easy to get and worth the money. I know a couple of unlocks would allow me to play support(right now i only play assault and recon)
:) -Well, Sharpy might say no, and to an extent I do agree with him, but I say a buck an unlock and some badges/ribbons that are EASY to get and give you unlock points instead of points is worth it for a new player. It is after all $10 dollars, just remember you are probably not going to play it after you get the badges/ribbons.
I think the unlocks are definitely worth it, but I think it's also an unfortunate (consumer) aspect of the booster pack. In a way, you are pressured to purchase the booster pack just so that you have access to the unlocks and not necessarily because the content is attractive. I have had the booster pack since its release and have not played the maps very often, but I use the unlocks in every game. *EDIT* Also let me use the latte analogy, which is too convenient for these types of purchases: I sometimes buy a few iced lattes at Starbucks or other coffee shops during the week; the money that I spend there gets me much less value than a booster pack. Of course, I'm not sure we should benchmark all of our spending by frivolous latte purchases.

I spend the same in a week of tabacco... so i guess i can spare 10 bucks and smoke half of what i smoke in 2 weeks, but that doesnt make the booster more healthy does it?
I'll say is worth it for the unlocks(coming faster) and bring some fun anyway, for 10 bucks.

Wow...never heard a latte analogy to purchasing a game lol nice, i agree, I use the unlocks alot as well but dont play on the maps often, although I do like all the maps, there just arent that many people playing it
Well...for 10 bucks...I say just get it. If you play regular 2142 a lot some of the unlocks (like the 4 AR rockets, extra engineer bullets, squad leader beacon upgrade, sprint upgrade, and the support UAV PDA) are worth having. I personally liked NS, it's not as popular. I personally loved the little hovercraft as well. If I could find a good gunner or driver I could do some big time damage.
