July 25, 200718 yr I eat pretty much whatever i can find Cheez-Its are my favorite they taste good and don't leave a mess like cheetos. I try to stay away from potato chips because of the grease gets over everything. Occasionaly i'll whip up a smoothie with a little bit of my own ingredients preferably ice cream instead of ice. Lots of sugar in general and water usually to drink. I love to grill once or twice a weak whatever is leftover becomes a snack.
July 25, 200718 yr I really don't eat when I'm gaming. I usually eat after or before because I get into the game very much. As for drinks, I usually don't make my own. I grab either a Mt. Dew, Dr. Pepper, or whatever pop is in the fridge. As of late though, I've been drinking a lot of Lipton Green Tee with Citrus. I never used to drink it, but lately I've been guzzling it down like a mad man lol.

July 26, 200718 yr Someone edited my post...theres a reason I had it all capslocks lol :peace: fine then... HotPockets Ftw! forums auto resize on a post with all caps, just pop in a single lowercase, or a smiley that uses text in the trigger, like the thumbs up. but neways, 1. place curry powder in a skillet on medium/high heat, toast lightly till pan is quite hot, add chicken thats been diced into small cubes/strips. 1a. on the side start to cook up some spaghetti, or your favorite kinda noodles (and yes ramen works, but is not nearly as good due to the starch content of normal noodle's being a bit higher). for more taste, use chicken broth instead of just straight tap water for noodles. a little curry powder can be added for color and flavor, dont add too much as a little goes a long way. 2.let cook for about 5-7 minutes or untill cooked half way through, then lightly cover top side with more curry powder then flip. 3. let sit for 4-6 minutes to completely cook through, then drizzle with a touch of honey and either brown sugar, or cinnamon sugar. not too much, its just supposed to be a fine dusting. flip again. 4.let the sugars carmelize a little to create a lightly crunchy glaze on the chicken. at this point keep cooking untill the honey has cooked off and been absorbed into the chicken, becareful not to over cook or the chicken will become dry. 5. when chicken is done, drain noodles (if you havent already) but do not rinse them. instead toss them directly into the skillet and toss lightly. cheese can be added here if you wish, smoked gouda goes good when grated, although a slight mixture of smoked gouda and motzerella goes well when mixed in a 2 to 1 ratio, respectively. this adds both flavor and a nice creamy/stringgyness. let cook after mixing (more curry can be added here if one wishes) in the pan for about 2 minutes. 6. remove from heat and enjoy either as is, or in a flat bread wrap or pita. :lightbulb:this recipe can be modified by first cooking the chicken all the way through PLAIN, then allowing it to soak in either a covered dish or a ziplockbag filled with either a brew (your favorite beer) or a small amount of whisky. :warning:BE CAREFUL not to just pour the bag straight onto the skillet, as the residual liquid alcohol can be directly placed into the pan. drain first then place the chicken in the pan, this will prevent this not so fun thing we call A FIRE from happening! and thats what i get from being hungry and bored ^__^;;
July 26, 200718 yr ...yummy stuff... :peace: -Not to be out done by some weird kid, I feel I must share the foody goodness as well. (sammich=sandwich) ...too much ZiM I feel. ------------------- what you need: -2 soft hero/sub/whatever you want to call it rolls, split (I prefer the 8" rolls) -several slices of swiss cheese -about 1/2 pond of roast pork (left-over pork chops ), slice it thin -smoked ham (I use the sammich slices, not exactly deli fresh...BUT I DON'T CARE!! ) 1 Dill pickle, again THIN slices 2 Tablespoons of melted butter...roughly 1 minced garlic clove -------------------- Pile the pork, ham, cheese, and pickles onto the bread. Mix together the butter and garlic. Brush the mixture onto the 'outside' of both sides of the sammich. Heat a large, heavy skillet on mid-low and place the sammich in the middle. Use a spatula or another pan to 'press' the sammich until one side is well browned and the cheese starts to melt, then flip and repeat. --It cooks up quite fast and is really yummy. ------------------------------------------------------- What you need: 2 teaspoons of butter A pear (Anjou are best because of thir firmness IMHO) -peel, core, and slice Salt and Pepper (to taste, some do not like either...that is fine) Several ounces of Brie (about 5 or 6) 1/4 cup toasted whole cashews (not honey glazed:rolleyes:) 1-2 lemon wedges -------------------- Preheat oven to 400 In a saute pan, heat the butter on medium until it stops bubbling. Ad the pear slices, increase heat slightly, and season with salt and pepper (again, to taste...not necessary). Saute for a minute or so just to soften the pears a little and give the a golden color. Spriz with lemon and move them onto a plate. Keep them warm. Place the Brie on a plate that your oven will not destroy and bake for about 3min (or until the cheese starts to ooze a bit) CAREFULLY transfer the 'molten Brie' to a serving plate with a spatula. Sprinkle the Brie with some cashews. Use the Brie as a 'dip' for the pear slices --If done right, the flavors do not overpower each other. Dispite the lengthy instructions this is a really fast recipe when you get good at making it. --------------- :oThere are a bunch more...perhaps I will type them up later. Interesting story about my culinary career: A friend of the family has a live-in chef. When I was young I would hangout with him when we would go over there....mostly for the free food and his funny accent:D. When I got older he let me help and taught me some neat little things. He died about a year ago:(, but I still remember some of the 'secret recipes' he 'took to the grave' that he only showed me.
July 26, 200718 yr gotta share it cause i know it by heart. I introduce to you: No-bakes! -1 stick of butter -1/2 cup of milk -2 cups of sugar -1/2 cup of peanut butter -1/2 cup of baking cocoa -1 tsp of vanilla -3 cups of oats Ok, lets get started! First, you're gonna want to put the butter into a pot (decent size, as you don't want it too small; its gonna fill up soon). Set a top-burner onto about medium heating and let the pot sit while the butter melts. Once the butter has melted and started to boil a bit, pour in the milk and quickly follow with the sugar and begin stirring to get it pasty. Once you've gotten it to that state, put the peanut-butter in and stir that until it's melted in with everything else as well. Put in the baking cocoa and the vanilla. Once all of this is mixed in, let it sit for awhile and boil. When you begin to see it boiling/bubbling, turn off the heat and mix it a bit more. Now comes decision time! You can do 1 of 2 things here: A- Add in the 3 cups (or more if still too loose/moist) -or- B- Add 2 1/2 cups of oats and 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts. Stir everything until it becomes hard to stir and thick. Take a spoon out (normal cereal-eatin' spoon!), and lay down small balls or clumpos of the no-bakes onto a sheet of plastic wrap and let sit for about 15-20minutes to harden up or put in the freezer to have a cool/crusty outside and a warm-gooey inside.
