I'm sure you get one of these threads every time someone new joins, but why isn't Fall of Berlin on the city maps server? That map is so fun!

but berlin is just so imbalanced

its either you get camped the entire round

or well thats about it

I guess I am not good enought to know that Berlin is unbalanced. Also I would think the quality of both sides would determine that also. I have had some close games in Berlin and then very one sided ones also.

I think that if ever it will be decided to put it back in rotation, it should be far away from belgrade, maybe it could stop the players leaving.

yea its a fun map, but not very very neutral, this was one of my favorite maps of the game till i noticed that one side would always win regardless!

Ya, leave Berlin out and pull Belgrade too then I don't have to stay up til 4 in the morning to play the maps I like LOL.

What would that map be like, who's the better shot, or who has the most rockets, or who can throw the most grenades?

from my experience, what kills the server during a "fall of berlin" map is when the EU team manages to corner the PAC team at their main base with the use of the APC and/or the Walker.

 

In the smaller version of "fall of berlin", only the PAC side has 1 walker (no apcs on either teams in small version). So its kinda like cerbere landing where the PAC team gets 1 walker to plow through several EU flags.

 

If ur complaining about nade and rocket spamming, then you havent played enough camp gibraltar (between central camp and ruins). If u take out the APC from fall of berlin, it's actually a pretty decent infantry based map.
