I bought these two 1GB sticks of DDR 500 memory from impact2oo, but later realized they are primarily for intel motherboards and not for my AMD socket 939 board.

you can mix and match brands

as long as the timmings are similar (youll have to go with the higher/slower timming)

and the voltages are the same (or close)

thats not true, they came off of a mobo using a amd fx60 939.

you can use them pc3200 =ddr400

 

so these are faster and would run just fine
