August 11, 200718 yr I know there are quite a few Call of Duty 4 threads on this forum already, but I didn't feel like reviving them. These videos are basically demonstrations of the multiplayer classes and perks. These are some really cool videos. My personal favorite, simply titled "C4". C4 throwing FTW! [gametrailers]22901[/gametrailers] Sleight of Hand. This perk allows you to reload significantly faster. [gametrailers]22625[/gametrailers] Dead Silence. This perk allows you to make less noise while walking. [gametrailers]23150[/gametrailers] Ghillie in the mist. This video shows 2 perks. UAV Jammer, which allows you to avoid radar dectection, and Extreme Conditioning, which allows you to sprint longer [gametrailers]23396[/gametrailers] There's a few awesome videos that are worth watching. Check back on Gametrailers.com every few days, they seem to add new videos frequently.

August 11, 200718 yr well, after watching some of these videos, I kinda lost my interest just a tad bit, the knifing seems odd, and i think someone else mentioned that the sound effect is a bit off for that, other then reallllllllllllly great grpahics i dont see how this game is going to be all that great, and stand out amongst other tactical FPS games coming out and the current ones.... IMO

If you're any good freefall i would like u to prove that to me;) Also games that actually require thinking before u act (i.e. GRAW2). COD 4 maybe a run and gun game but its modern and i love the modern games compared to 2142. The only futuristic game i liked that was an FPS was Quake

You say ArmA sucks because you can't knife and one bullet will kill you.
August 28, 200718 yr ...the new generation is meant for massive players ... -LOL!, exactly...almost... -They want mindless blobs that will live on their computers and keep buying new crap so the MIGHT be able to play the next clone that comes out. I think most of us DO get out and only play on our comps for 'reasonable' amounts of time, but we where raised with some care. Some of the lazy, useless people I personally know that have become parents before they could take care of themselves are going to sit the kid down in front of a TV or, more likely, a Computer so the do not have to deal with it all day long. -Odds are good that I WILL buy CoD4...I AM looking forward to it...it DOES look fun. My statement before was just frustration to things that do not matter. We will all buy it like good sheep, we will all enjoy it for a good while, we will all get pissed off and hate it, and we will all rinse and repeat. -I like the new stuff and ideas that are in CoD4. It looks like it was well thought out, and I understand it is not a tactical game (to anyone but the ignorant)...I am fine with that, I like checkers. It will be a fun challenge trying to kill hundreds of players that have the exact same optimized kit that constantly use any glitch they can get away with. :thumbsup:-Rant3 [+1...I PMed Shotty with a rant]

I know that you prefer the more slow-paced think-your-way-through-everything-tactically shooters, but I tend to find those relatively boring in multiplayer, simply because everybody is crawling around slowly looking for somebody to kill or camping. What I like about this game is that it seems to have the aspect of a run&gunner and a tactical shooter all rolled into one package. If you want to play tactically and carefully you can be a sniper and sneak around, popping a few guys as you go. If you want to be a run&gunner you can just use an assualt rifle or machine gun and spray&pray.
