Razer 5.1 Headphones with Mic

Featured Replies

Those look really nice...too bad i dont have the money to spend on them.
Razer stuff seems to be regular for Woot!, though usually only mice.

Yeah I have this headset and they are good for a little while. The problem is that the inner surface of the ear piece is too close to your ear. After an hour or two of game play, the way that the earpiece bends your ear can and does become very painful. I have to take them off and put on my $25 pair of stereo logitech's. I suggest unless your ears were torn off by some missfortunate accident, or you have ludacrisly small ears, DON'T GET THESE. :)

Thanks for the information Tilgado. It's always a good thing when people tell how the product is before everyone else makes the same mistake. Unfortunate for you though.

u got dumbo ears tilly? :)

Glad to hear about this...I've been eying these things for a while. Now I'll just stick with using external speakers and the cheap plantronics with the boom for a mic. I rely heavily on the rear speakers...anyone else?

My ears are not what is being discussed, myob.

The sound is so much better with a 5.1 surround headset, in my opinion. I say try to find a good pair, it really helps to make any game that much better. I say keep looking for a headset, just stay away from the Razer.

If you can find something else for those money do it(i got one of that Razer5.1)especially something bigger to cover your ears or smaller to not cover them at all.Tilgado got a word.

...and can you guys please stop talking about this headset cause i pay for mine almost 200$ and now i have to use them alot for that money.
