ok here goes found this on fileplanet

Call of Duty 4 Demo

War rages on in the fourth edition of Activision's acclaimed war game. For the first time in the series, Call of Duty moves away from WWII to the modern battlefield. • Status: UNCONFIRMED

• Date: TO BE ANNOUNCED

RESERVE THIS DEMO NOW . . .

so I reserved it

Paying for a beta that is out months before anyone else gets to play the game is almost justifiable, just for the sneek peak aspect.

Paying for a demo of a game coming out in a month? No way.

If they are gonna do this they should use your money towards a preorder of the game, the way valve did with the orange box and TF2.

I'm sure u will be able to use torrents soon after the demo is released.

I'm not paying to download free software, I already pay my 50/mo for RR.

Since this is a demo they shouldn't be using "keys" to activate it correct? That's usually what they only do for betas.
The reservation only requires a subscription. You will be able to download the demo without a reservation or subscription.
