Revived to die again

Featured Replies

Is there anyway to keep from being revived? On Saturday this well meaning medic kept bringing me back and before I could move I was dead again. I went through this cycle several times until someone finally put him out of my misery. I think the answer is NO but I thought I would ask anyway. :( (I meant this to be in the BF2 Forum. Can someone move it?)

Thanks for moving the thread. I now see how I made this mistake. I watched the funny movie that was moved to BF2142 and didn't notice that I was now in the BF2142 forum when I posted my thread. Same problem I have in the game, I am shooting away at some far off guy when the enemy next to me knifes me. Oh well........
Since this game came out I wanted a "DNR" feature..I can't tell you the number of times I've been revived in front of a tank/apc/walker or in front of an entire squad. People just want that 1 point so badly.
I have revived someone when they didnt want it. I knew there were enemy soldiers in sight. I couldnt take them all. I revived to get help, but then realized that i was not helping anything. You die and learn. lol I know now not to revive unless we are behind protective cover or out of the sight of enemy infintry. A "DNR" option would be nice to have though. Sometimes i dont want to be revived in order to switch to a different class, to help the squad for the situation at hand.

When you die, try to make it from a tank round or excessive amounts of arty. Or a few PK rockets.

That way there's no chance cause you be D-E-D DEAD.

Yea, if you go out make sure to go out with a bang so theres no chance of being revived :(

Here's my best advise, i dont know if you have voip, or ventrilo enabled but communication is the best form of getting through a game, if your running with a squad, let them know if you do or dont want to be resed, because things change fast in the game sometimes you do and then you dont, for the guy, who is just looking for the res, well snipe for awhile, by yourself, and it will improve your steathyness, and frustration. Good Luck.
You probably wouldn't wanna play with the late night crowd, sometimes it takes 3-4 revives to find some cover but that's just how it goes. When I die I call for a medic and watch the minimap, if I see a medic running to me I get ready to jump up and go, don't just lay there.
If i get revived in the middle of a fire fight and get killed again and again the medic who did it will experience a fate worse than death. Just return the favor to them when ur a medic or execute them the next time u see them:D

Well I have revived a person just to see them killed again. Usually I can not tell if they are going to be immediately killed again. I have revived in the middle of a street with no problem and then done the same thing in a hole in the wall and both of us get killed. I like the idea of a DNR switch, maybe the body disappears immediately when killed. Thanks for the answers......
