  12. Ok guys, I've done some research and I'm back with the Poll! The Voting will end on 6/15, That's one week for voting. Also this will give everyone enough time to download and install the winning mod by Friday the 16th. Descriptions are below, and the Downloads are here. http://www.totalbf2.com/page.php?do=reviewbrainoff (W9) *single map mods can be expanded to other levels with a simple Copy/Paste operation. 1. BattleRacer Here's another mod that you've likely heard of because of recent media updates. This is a perfect racing mod for Battlefield 2. I know, those two concepts don't seem like they'd mix well, but the tracks couldn't have been built any better. It's like a cross between Twisted Metal and miniature golf. And it's coded to provide accurate results of the race both during and after. Personally though, I think half the fun is in the anarchy of the players. In almost every round someone will get to the point where they've crashed too often to see any chance of winning the race that they'll resort to laying booby traps for the rest of the players. It only makes the game more hilarious and enjoyable. 2. Paintball: Open Source It's been brought to my attention that the mod team behind Paintball has called it quits. So this is my call to you, the players, and to them, the creators, to bring this mod back to life! Even after it's death, there are dedicated servers where people still play, and that's saying a lot for a shortly lived mod. There's not much to it, and the rounds are faster than Counterstrike, but it's very addicting. I don't know if it's the perfectly ploppy paintball-gun sounds, or the odd mix of a speedball arena tossed in the middle of familiar BF2 scenery, but something about this little mod screams play me! 3. Slaughter Slaughter is the Godmode of multiplayer Battlefield 2. There's only one map, and it's dense forest with just one clearing, and there's a stream that runs down the middle. The map feels great. It may be simple, but its very well done. It doesn't have that feeling of being tossed together that some less professionally made custom maps do. The lighting and shadows are perfect, and you really feel like you're in the forest. But, that's not what makes this mod so fun. While the Support, Medic and Engineer kits really haven't been tweaked much, the following kits have insane power abilities: *Sniper: Sniper shots bring a single artillery strike to the centered location. *Anti-tank: The DAO-12 shoots about 12 hand grenades at a time. The rocket launcher seems normal and has 5 shots. *Special Ops: Are you a C4 spammer? Think you can handle 249 charges? However, you cant lay all 249 out at once. At a certain point the red crossbones stop appearing over your charges and then they're duds until you detonate what you've already laid down. *Assault: How's 500 launch grenades sound? They fire as fast as you can pull the trigger; no reloading required. However, every kit has a fully automatic pistol.
  13. Looks cool! like digital sand art!
  14. i'll give it a try.... still cant wait for 2142 tho....
  15. OHIO!!!! wait....wrong catagory of teams.... and besides Ohio sucks....
  16. Or you could call it..... MY WALLET JUST BURST INTO FLAMES!!!!!!! because they cost so much!
  17. It makes for some very good practice because you actually have to aim around your team mates... this would be a good co-op mod!
