Whats goin on...I know I know..its been forever since I've been here. Between work, school, and an unhealthy addiction to Saints Row my PC has gotten little attention lately...I'm gonna try to play a bit today...so maybe I'll see some of you. :banana:

I've been trying to get on the server for awhile, and cant figure it out, what patch are we running?

Actually both Blazers have stock lift. The tires are 31x10.5x15s That is the max size for the Blazers without rubbing the fenders. Even then the wheels rub a little bit at full lock. Nothing a hammer wont take care of. I've taken my 84 in places I never thought it would go without needing a winch to get out. THen again I dont really go bashing on stuff. I see people jumping and climbing stuff all out, which is bad on anything.

This wouldnt suprise me. I went in there the other day with a check from my school. It was for $2400. I only had about $650 in the bank at the time and they said "Sir, we're gonna have to put a hold on this.....there's not enough funds in your account to cover it. We do this to "protect" you." *goofy smile* Me - "If you dont deposit my check today, without a hold, which I've been cashing here for the last 2 years and never had a hold even suggested, you're gonna need more than this 4 ft counter to protect you..a nigha got bills." Teller -"well Sir..." Me - "Well Sir nothing...I have a friend who works in the fraud department here, and the ONLY reason you issue a hold is when you think the check isnt legit. I go to school with him....in fact, why dont you call and ask HIM if the check is good..cause he got the same one today. The fact is, I'm standing here in a work uniform that has my name on my shirt...you dont think I could possibly get a $2400 check, when in fact I deposit more in a month than you make in 6. Handle it. And when you're done I want a sucker.." Teller- "Well, I need to have my manager override it, I already put the hold on..." Me -"Why are you still standing here looking stupid then? Get to it." 5 minutes later a manager walks out, apologized for her teller, deposits my check, gives me my $500 cash and I left, with my sucker. I've learned 2 things in my 26 years. 1. People Never respect those in uniform (be it Air Force, or a manual labor uniform) with your name on it. I would go somewhere in my blues, or BDU's, people would be friendly, but seriously try to walk over me, or think I am there to open doors and make their life easier. In most cases I was in more of a rush then they were, just trying to get done and back to work. Same goes for my uniforms at my current job. People seem to see it and think I dont make $30K a year and I have the IQ of a rock. 2. Showing your ass is sometimes required in this world. People who are in a position of "power" that make minimum wage think they have something to prove by telling you "NO" when in fact they have no justification or right to do so. I used to try to be nice and reason with them, but as a 5'6" white boy with glasses and a shaved head it got nowhere...now I just act loud and obnoxious...this is 100% more effective than logic or reason. Of course this is only an "as needed" act, and I usually fight myself from laughing when I'm doing it. The 1st time I did this was to a police officer. I was driving the Cutlass above, in my BDU's. He flipped around behind me, lit me up and then walked to the car...got to my door and said "I'm sorry, I thought you were someone else" Wichita, Ks is terrible for racial profiling..I jump out and WHO did you think I was?? A Black or Mexican somebody?? He just said have a good day and left...there must have been some GREAT probable cause to pull me over... Sorry...I'll step off my soapbox for tonight...and stop hi-jacking my own thread.

lmao, I dont even know the exhange rate on them....I'll have to check that out...I'll trade you all the Cdn coinage for the us equivilent. Man...thats .90 each I have to just throw away.....wonder why they dont convert them at the banks...

Not to change the subject, but i hate those things..I find about 50 of them a week in cars I clean out...and the banks dont want to convert them when I cash in the rest of my change... :o

Yeah, I was pissed, and sadly thats about the time the marriage took a dive...I mean it was "just a car" but after that it really opened my eyes to how controlling she was... even better...we're actually GOOD friends now that we're divorced...she even said today there would have been no way in hell I would have bought the 1st Blazer, letalone the 2nd if we were still together....which I just laughed. Some people on my Neon forum and the local forums were asking why I bought a truck for just the wheels/tires...mainly the wheels and tires alone, which are only a couple months old..would have cost me $1200+. So, I still made out in the deal. Not to mention my Neon is getting closer and closer to being done. Well off to bed...and yes, 2 years later, I'm STILL upset about losing the Cutlass, but thats how it goes, at least dude did me a favor by wrecking it, I dont have to see it anymore. When he bought it he was only 2 blocks west of me..so I passed it almost everyday going to work. I saw him one day with 4 kids in the back, smoking in the car, and driving it like he stole it. (well, he kinda did, from me) but I just shook my head.

Thats REALLY funny, because the black 91 has duct tape as well..covering 2 entire windows....I'll go out and get a pic here in a little while. AS for my 79 cutlass.....I kinda hate you asked that question, but here goes.. I bought the car for $300 from a friend. It turned heads everywhere. Well, in early 2004 my now ex wife wanted a new car. In the middle of negotiations, she offers my Cutlass as a trade in.... Stating that I never drive it. (DUH! it had 42000 orig miles on it!)We were already trading in the 2001 Explorer thats in the pic. Well, after she said that they HAD to have the Cutlass too, they wouldnt do anything else without that car for a trade in. I said I didnt want to do it, but you married guys already know I lost...I drove home, speechless, cleaned out my stereo system, interior lighting, and anything else I was giving to them bastages...I fired her up and drove around the city one more time, which took about 3 hours, cause I also wasnt giving them ANY of my 93 octane...I was heartbroken when I pulled into the dealership. The salesman eye's lit up as I pulled in, they gave me $1200 for the car...I didnt even look...I handed over the title, keys and walked away. They sold the car 4 days later for $7500 to a kid...a week later he wrecked it. The REAL kicker of the Cutlass is that it was built, on my birthday. I found the build sheet behind the dashboard when I replaced the old one, it rolled off the assembly line 7/11/1979. Which is my B-day as well. Also had the window sticker from 79, that car was $12,300 and the old lady who bought it paid with a personal check. And thats what happened to the 79 Cutlass, its also why I keep the car domain site up and the screenname. I've never forgiven my ex wife for that.

LOL thats why I bought the black one...I dont really NEED 2, so gonna swap the tires from the black one to the black and white one. Then all the lenses, since whoever rattle canned that truck doesnt know what tape is. I figure I'll sell the Black 91 fro $500 when I'm done, it needs 2 drivers side windows since some kids knocked out the back window and the back back window. Would cost me more money to replace them and what not. It doesnt even look that bad, the previous owner cut some wood and covered the windows, painted them black and was done with it. Anyways, drove the new one to work today, got it really muddy out in the yard and now its sitting in front of the apartments. Figured since I dont want to spend the money to tag and insure it right now today was its day of glory...the next trip will be a few miles from here to swap the wheels, then back in its parking space till its sold.

Well, cause I have extra cash and no brains... My 01 Neon is currently undergoing major surgery to install new internal engine components and the long overdue turbo setup....so I needed a daily driver. Found the 86 for $500, then saw this 91 just collecting dust, soooo I'm gonna add the wheels/tires and other "better than the stuff in the 86" to the 86 and sell the 91 again... Both drive great...just arent much to look at, which is the whole point. I spent $1200 on both. So, lets go for a good laugh and post pics of my Blazers...The 91, 4x4, power everything, 4.3 auto needs paint, and the 2 drivers side back windows, but hey,it was $700 and runs great http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/3/web/459000-459999/459050_70_full.jpg 86 4x4 2.8 4-speed, REALLY bad paintjob...no other real problems, lady who I bought it from had over $2000 in repair receipts, runs like ****ing new. Ok well after much searching for the problem, the only thing I can figure is that my bank has not gotten my change of address form yet. So, they have my address on my statements as "Return mail". Sooo...Click and buy must rely heavily on checking the address with the bank. Soo, as soon as I get the change of address done with the bank, I can download it..yay.. but while we're here, is it worth downloading for 2 maps?

LOl yeah, I've been extreamly busy, 4 wheeling in my new blazer, work and school and dating....its just a busy busy time for a single 26 year old..I'll get back into playing soon enough when its too hot to go outside.

1. Those Clarion subs are lighter and still better sounding than the Jackhammer. 2. Just for grins, did you know that UPS actually used that truck to make deliveried until people starting complaining that they were suspicious because they didnt know if it was an actual UPS truck. And the repair bills were getting kinda high on it. I just went and bought some caps from someone and we were talking about this whole car audio thing. Back when I was installing car audio in the 90's it was common to build a wood box, to specs and stuff some speakers in it. No covering or carpet needed, no fiberglass, as long as it was LOUD! I used to go to car shows and see poeple stuff 20+ subs into a truck and reach 160 DB. I'll tell ya, at 150+ its hard to breath theres soo much sound pressure. I always wore ear defenders, but its such a rush to be sitting in a car thats so loud you need oxygen when you get out. Nowadays, its all about design and "pretty". This is why I got out of the car audio world. I dont care how pretty it is if its not loud as hell and can shake the car next to you. My favorite thing in my 83 Bonneville wagon was pulling up to the stoplight, putting on my ear protection and seeing if I could make the driver next to me spill their coffee in the morning. When you can vibrate the windows 3 cars over...then its enough bass.

well from being into car audio all my life, and looking at the Db meter...thats nothing.. 137 dbs is, well normal for a good set of 12" woofers. I had a mustang with 4 10's and a 400 watt amp that hit 154 Dbs and broke the hatchback lock and popped the windshield out of the car with the windows up. My 79 cutlass with 3 AudioBahn 10"s and a Zues amp hit 147 dbs. My Neon with 2 Infinity 10's and Infinity 6 Ch amp is pushing 132 Db. Therefore, Jackhammer at 137 Dbs is NOT impressive. And the amount of power they had to use was just not worth the output. Impressive setup: yes. Impressive results: No. Whats worse is they're in California, so anything over 90 Dbs is considered illegal, that kid will get nothing but tickets for having that in his car. Not to mention its a freaking buick century.

I like the sniper kit, and like playing sniper, I like the hunt of it for other snipers. The best way to counter a sniper is to outsmart him. Everyone goes up something tall to snipe, and this usually leaves you exposed. Try finding a quiet spot on the ground and in the shadows and you'll get lots more kills.

Ok, so I finally had some time to download the patch, but no time to play, I did log in tonight to get my unlocks, whats the deal? It said you can choose to unlock the weapons from the BFHQ screen. I dont see anything of the sort, so just HOW do I unlock my weapons from the patch? I was scrolling through the weapon lists for each kit and for some reason it shows the AT kit with the new unlock, but how could I have selected it without the patch since I havnt played since the patch was released? I did however one night select one of the blank unlocks, just considering it wouldnt work anyways, and being silly... wonder if it actually took and selected it once the patch was released?

sounds like a good patch, and just as I figured people would ***** and complain about the airplanes, but whatever, AA in RL is very accurate and hard to get away from. I just need to get my cable turned back on (last month of being broke) and getting back to playing BF2, would be nice to have it this weekend.

Engy, I love the shotgun, there nothing better then running up on someone whos wasteing a full clip trying to bunny hop and DD around you and putting 1 shot in their face and walking away. I've even gotten pretty good with it from range. Mostly depends on the map.... Shar. Penn. I play Engy when rushing the TV station, or sniper while defending it. I LOVE to snipe, just wish it was more effective in game. I can hide pretty good, get good shots but when it takes 3-4 shots to kill..I get mad. Dilian Plant..Engy again, theres nothing more fun than running into an enemy base and dropping land mines under vehicles, and I've gotten even more sinister with it by getting an armored vehicle, driving it near an enemy base, planting the mine and then hiding while someone runs like crazy just to get blown up. Would like the heavy MG's if they were more accurate as well. I suck at special ops, I just cant toss C-4 that well, so rushing tanks usually ends up with me getting killed more times then not.
