  1. Vandalism. The post is saying that people don't like the car because it isn't "manly enough" or something because those that like macho cars supposedly don't like cars like the Prius? Okay, I actually have no idea about the logic behind it, but vandalism is the problem.
  2. As poorly worded as that was, zark, I think you do bring up an interesting point... =/
  3. I really hope people listen to the authorities and evacuate this time. -.-
  4. I love RPGs, but this looks (and from the videos I've seen plays...) identical to WoW. No thanks.
  5. Yes, ArmA. No one from this community plays. Some people get interested, but promptly uninstall. It's niche gaming at its finest, and definitely isn't for the average player. http://www.armedassault.com/ http://www.armedassault.info/ Screenshot Thread -- 56k warning P.S. My AA ID is Lord_Fuzzywig[AEA]. It's been that for about as long as I can remember.
  6. Yup. I play every once in a while. Used to be might kickass at it, if I do say so myself. That being said, I'm too in love with ArmA to play AA full time again.
  7. "Physical" music will always hold a special place in my heart. It used to mean something... sharing cassettes, CDs... With as easy as everything is to get anymore, and the ability to just delete the songs you don't like, music means very little. I'll continue to buy albums from artists I support, be it vinyl, CD, or even cassette. After all, there's nothing like putting down some vinyl.

Was just checking! I didn't know if there was some sort of hidden meaning I was missing or if I was right in thinking it was what I thought it was. >_>

Is this supposed to be like the BFG, except the BFC?
  10. 4 STR 4 STA leather belt? Level 18? http://deckard.ytmnd.com/

As Underspy said, it means they are typing or calling an airstrike in.
  12. Here's a picture of a guy I know. He wasn't wearing a facemask and... well... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v246/WarhammerChaosLegions/teeth2.jpg
  13. 80% of airsoft is just playing dress-up.

Yeah, just pick up an HP one or something. I have one that actually has a surprisingly clear picture, and was pretty cheap.
  15. Our neighbor, Iowa.
  16. You didn't lose enough speed, or your LZ wasn't flat. You actually missed it, the crew and I were just playing it.
  17. Eh... I don't trust a program to fiddle with my registry. Sounds like a nice program if it works, though.
  18. ...THIS! Civilization FTFW. Also, Ground Control II was a real blast.

Tesla Coils, anyone? You know, Red Alert was one of the first games I ever played on PC -- Red Alert and Civilization II (the latter more than the former, admittedly, because I was terrible at RA). Such good times. I'm hoping this is not too much different, because if they change it too much, I'm not going to feel like I'm playing Red Alert anymore. =[
  20. Exactly. It's not that game developers thought it would be too graphic to wade through the bodies in World of Warcraft's Azeroth, to use his example, or whatever else... it's that your console/PC would fall to its knees and beg for mercy because there would be so much to render.
  21. It's not something I personally would put on my body, but that's just me. Love your rendition, though.
  22. I'd be willing to bet only 50% of those people actually stick with it. There are plenty to play with, but it's always more fun to play with people you know and set up ops. Take a look at ShackTactical if you're curious what you can expect in large ops. I daresay as detailed as they come. It is sex.http://www.armedassault.com/pic_screenshots/arma_screenshot_2006_33.jpg http://home.arcor.de/parvus/ArmA/pics_1/ArmA_325.JPG http://www.armedassault.com/pic_screenshots/arma_screenshot_2006_14.jpg
  23. I play it very often with a number of friends. As far as the lag goes, they have recently released a number of patches that have drastically improved FPS through optimizations. The demo is officially more obsolete than it was with 1,08. 1,14 changed the aiming system, the FOV, the name of a few guns... I did try to get a few Armory members in on it -- if you use the search function you'll find a thread or two -- but no one seemed to care or found it too realistic/large. ^^

  25. It was just a suggestion; something to discuss with her.
