  1. Care to link us to this brush set, or provide a download link? These are simply beautiful.

    Trippy. P:
  3. To you too, Strider. =)
  4. I thought about doing the same! I actually get a kick out of seeing them around. I'll be sure to snap a screeny of some. ^^
  5. Exactly. The biggest problem with this guy's videos is he makes things black and white, and things aren't that simple, I'm afraid.
  6. I have thought about it. What I don't see is what's so crazy about it. It's a sign that says, in essence, "Don't throw things off the bridge". =/ EDIT: I get it. Missile. Don't... willfully throw a missile... Gotcha.
  7. I don't think I get it.
  8. So gamebattles.com out of the question, but TGL is up...? =/
  9. Yup! You can go straight to 1.3. =)
  10. I can't help it. "Always look on the bright side of life~ -Whistles-" ^^
  11. What I do is pull out a grenade and right-click. "1...2...3..." THROW. It will blow up within about 1 second of hitting the ground and, therefore, no one will have a chance to run out of the way. The fuse is approximately 4.5 seconds, so 3 is all you need. Have fun!

It's definitely a very specific crowd. Few people like RP, and even fewer like RPPVP.

If you guys were on an RPPVP server, I totally would. I always do(did) associate my guild with TAC though, in a way. I'd tell them that this was kind of my "home", and they were welcome to join the forums and play other games with you all. I would have brought some members on Vent, but I imagined that would be inappropriate, so I kind of just stuck to my own.

Or the lack of having one. However you'd like to look at it. xD
  15. C'mon... How can you say no to ROBOT DINOSAURS?! Yes, we'd want a TAC team, but would Zieg be able to play under the TAC tag, as he's not in the clan?
  16. I think it's a good idea, TBH. I know that some (TAC) guys were discussing entering a COD4 tourny, so this could be a place to start. Any interest here? I'm kind of in a "I'll go if you go" position here.
  17. OMG SUPER KAWAII DESU!!!!! ^___________________^ i luv dorf gurlz. ;_;

I... sadly am starting to get back into WoW. I quit for a month or two, maybe more than that actually, but then I slipped back on and got a really warm welcome from old friends. That was really nice, so I kind of stuck around. I'm just hoping I don't get addicted again. I need my COD4! Ismir - 60 Human Fire/Clearcast Mage - Emerald Dream Ismir - 70 Blood Elf Fire/Clearcast-ImpCS Mage - Twisting Nether.
  19. It's not exactly fair to you guys to have you playing on a mode you didn't/don't like. The only reason I suggested it was because there was a server already up for it, and those suggestions I posted in the other thread were a sort of "collective" suggestion, from multiple sources. My bringing those suggestions up in this thread was not a "QQ GIMME WHAT I WANT" kind of thing, it was to point out something that I thought was unfair. As said to Shotty - if anyone else had made a suggestion, and the same thing happened, I would have taken the same approach. If you all want a regular server, by all means, go for it. I'll play with you all regardless of the server you're on. My only argument is that we've already tried it and no one played on it, so I think it's time to just try something different. I spent some time and re-read over all this, and I do realise I sounded kind of childish and whiny. I do apologise for that. That was not how I meant to come off, and if you could hear my tone of voice, that'd be a bit more apparent. Furthermore, pointing out favouritism was NOT an accusation, and I hope you guys didn't take it like I meant it was widespread. I want that to be CRYSTAL clear. I was simply saying that in this case, it looked to be that way. So again, I do apologise. Anyway, I stand by my statement earlier that we do need to focus (as a group) on populating, with both public players and clan members, a single server right now, be it the Mixed or the other. With all that said, I'm going to sleep.
  20. To Shotty - I call the shots as I see 'em. I saw that my suggestion was not at all even considered, but another idea was immediately taken up and put into effect. That's what I saw. Even from the outside looking in, it looks awkward. It may be selfish to point out that my idea wasn't put into effect, yes, but if anyone else had suggested something, and the same would have happened, I would have said the same things. It simply is unfair to take one suggestion over the other without trying both. They both have equal merit. Also, I stopped bothering to join the Hardcore TDM server because changes were not put in place and people were displeased with the settings. With the proposed changes in place, we can only hope that players will be staying now. It's simply a matter of getting the server started and I imagine players will stay for a while and we might bring in regulars. That is, after all, what we want, isn't it? Public players to come play along? We aren't getting them in the HC Mixed server, so we have to try something different. We try something different, get feedback from the pubbies, and experiment with those settings and see what happens. To Sharp - If you don't pay per server, then that's a good deal, but we really should think about focusing our efforts on populating ONE server (whatever the settings on it are) and not trying to please people with TWO. Honestly, what it looks like to me is that the people of TAC are just spread out and it's causing some amount of discontent. If people don't like the hardcore server, it's difficult enough bringing people out of it to play on the other one, because that's where all the friends are, so they just play the Hardcore server anyway.
  21. favoritism [fey-ver-i-tiz-uhm, feyv-ri-]-noun1. the favoring of one person or group over others with equal claims This is exactly what we have here. I made suggestions based on what I've observed and of collective opinion (I imagine that's what Ding did too). Yet, my suggestion didn't get even considered, but Ding's is, as we speak, in effect. Even if others were in Vent, so it was more than just Ding, my suggestion was not even put into effect or really considered at all. It was shot down and ignored. Second point, on people playing when Server 1 is down for maintenance -- this was the case on day one and part of day two. For the afternoon/evening of day two, some of us went and got the server started up and had quite a few public players join. And no one played in it. Those people that "don't like it", still play in the HC server. If we all wanted individual goals met, we'd all find a server that already had those settings and invite members to play on it. I gave my suggestions because that's what the pubbies wanted. That is what many clan members agreed on the very first night of playing on it. That is what damn near EVERYONE who actually played on the server wanted. I gave up going to other servers to try to more extensively playtest our server. I had success, but the problems listed in that thread were the ones that really stuck out to me and the players that joined me.Every time I do a server search, I've always had one of the Armory servers pop up. This further solidifies the claims that people (pubbies) don't like the settings. I think what people want is what we already have: one server. Hardcore Mixed. You know what we've done? Original setup: 2 servers - HC Mixed and Regular Mixed. Modified setup: 2 servers - HC Mixed and HC TDM. Current setup: 2 servers - HC Mixed and Regular Mixed. In every situation, the Regular Mixed server remained vacant. Also in every situation, the HC Mixed server only had players when Armory guys were in it. I think this pretty clearly shows that THE PUBLIC doesn't dig the settings. I didn't bother with the HC TDM server after the thread got shot down. I'm not gonna play on a server on which I, and those who play with me, don't like the settings. So after a few days, I stopped bothering. Right now, we've simply gone back to what we had originally. Where's the logic in that? On the subject of switching to my suggested settings: don't bother. There's no sense in putting it on if clan members don't want it and won't play it. Stick with one server. That's all you lot play on. Save yourselves money.
  22. Well, Phunky, you might not care for it, but apparently the 20+ other players who consistently play on the server do. That server and servers like it are full around the clock. The [MW] server in particular is always at least two-thirds full. Those people enjoy it thoroughly. With 32 players, you CAN camp, but there are enough players NOT camping for the game to be mobile. It satisfies both the campers and the run'n'gunners. You gotta learn how to play the gametype. After you left, by the way, we had 3 maps of perfectly even teams (rounds ended within 700 points of each other which is VERY fair).
  23. I gave a suggestion for the Hardcore TDM server. I gave multiple suggestions actually. I had shown, through multiple playtests on the server, that there was a demand for hardcore TDM and that players -- in particular (and almost exclusively) public players -- wanted Hardcore TDM, but the server settings needed to be modified for players to start coming in with any amount of regularity. That thread received almost entirely negative responses from you guys. I told you in that thread why the server was empty, and what needed to be changed for the server to start getting populated because it's a popular gametype. You've only got to look at other servers to see what game modes are popular and what maps play well with what number of players. So that thread -- my thread -- was shot down immediately. Yet here, we have a suggestion to change the server -- from a staff member -- and it immediately (Reply number 1) is done. With all due respect, what the hell? This is blatantly playing favourites. Words fail to express my disappointment right now. I'm astonished. This post might sound like whining (qq i didnt get what i want), and all my posts supporting TDM might have sounded like whining, but nothing could be further from the truth. As Underspy said, a poll would have been wise. Hell, even just letting more people post in here and express their opinions on it would have been better than changing the server within 3 minutes of the post.
  24. We'd rather not think about it...

It's all good bro, I understand being excited about something. It's just polite to try to keep things in one thread.
