Having recently dumped Apple as a partner, NBC plans to move back in with its old flame, advertising. The entertainment company said on Wednesday that it plans to launch a service called NBC Direct next month offering free, ad-supported downloads of its shows. "With the creation of this new service, we are acknowledging that now, more than ever, viewers want to be in control of how, when and where they consumer their favorite entertainment," said Vivi Zigler, executive VP of NBC Digital Entertainment, in a statement. "Not only does this feature give them more control, but it also gives them a higher quality video experience." Viewers may want to be in control but that doesn't mean NBC is ready to put them in control. NBC Direct will only be available for Windows computers initially and will contain ads that cannot be skipped. Furthermore, NBC's digital rights management scheme will terminate the ability to view downloaded shows a week after broadcast. The shows that will be available at launch include Heroes, The Office, Life, Bionic Woman, 30 Rock, Friday Night Lights, Late Night with Conan O'Brien and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. At some later date, NBC Direct will allow Macintosh users to view its DRM protected files and to transfer them to portable devices. NBC also said that it is planning to make high definition content available through a closed peer-to-peer distribution network. Chinese man dies after three-day online binge A man in southern China collapsed and died after a three-day marathon online session at a cybercafe, state media reported today. The web user, estimated to be 30-years-old, suddenly collapsed in front of his computer terminal in Guangdong province, and emergency personnel were unable to revive him, the Beijing News reported. duDe believe me this is a good server.... I have untold playing hours surfing servers and I can tell you some storys .naaaaaa I won t lets just say there are some servers where the people that run them are abusive and intensionally stack the teams ........forcing team switching making one team all experienced players and the others kids and newbies and noobs ..having a regular policy of attacking the base and camping it. Having an admin with team speak on the other team telling the enemy commander if 1 of their team gets through. some servers get off on screwing with people ..... this isnt one of them AND yes its part of the game just deal with it or do like I do surf to another server until you find one thats balanced that you can have fun on NO server is always fun!

Some where a few years back some teenagers broke in to 1 of those abandoned silos with Gas lanterns and hunting spot lights and video taped their journey down in the tunnels.... concrete doors.. bunkers.... showing flooded silos in the bottom .they spray graffiti all over the place as they go the place was frigin huge video was 30 min long with breaks in it where the would turn it on in a new spot ...I found this on a your tube like site. I forget where its been years quite cool to see OHH and the nuke story .I cant believe something so important is handled so loosely... 5 nukes @150 THATS 750 mega tons of explosion.......in the air thats 1/5 of the US that becomes UN livable .thats comforting to know ...someone is taking their duty seriously I know they say hay dont worry they are made safe not to go off...... Just as luck would happen does anyone know what would happen if a lighting bolt struck one.....causing a chain reaction .....setting all five off ?? only god knows I guess
