1000 bonus points?!?! Damn....that might take a while.....

So all of them means the doubled points, right? That's good then. I assume that it does not include bonus......that'd be too easy.

I'm not worried about getting the silvers; it's just putting the time in. That 1000 points should help quite a bit on my quest to be a general by Sunday night. I didn't know about the average part....that's what I was most confused by. So I should get my squads to do whatever will increase their score.....got it PS: My new favorite is to play commander in titan as an engineer in a titan AA gun.....that way I can work on my commander silver, engie bronze, titan attack and defend gols, and AA silver all at once. They all just require more time and commander requires points. PPS: In terms of the silver commander badge, does "commander points" include the doubled points if you win or just the original commander score?

Yeah, that sucked. I was done for the night anyways. This wasn't in that game though BTW.

Does anyone have any kind of information on commander's score? Where it comes from, how it's calculated and such?

I work full time as assistant director of IT for a business school while simultaneously getting my MBA.

I also bough the Razer Barracuda 5.1 surround headphones. They were DAMN expensive too. They suck....badly. One of the drivers was DOA and the sound quality is just awful. The $10 logitech headphones I'm used to were much better!

What kind of sound setup do you guys use? I like using a 5.1 speaker system, but I don't have one right now and the high back of my chair prevents it from working well. With that said, headphones are the way to go. I know exactly where anyone near me is. I usually find beacons just by listening for example.

If we do BF2142, I can do it this saturday!

What are your favorite unlocks and why? I actually love my 3rd grenade....I've gotten so many kills with that extra grenade it's not even funny. APMs would also be up there. And the philum...that really changes the engie class! You can snipe people from a good distance and up close, it's like a shotgun!

It is kinda sad....then again, they are meant to be something that is VERY hard to obtain (some of them would take FOREVER). What would be cooler than points is if your medals were displayed on your person in game....that'd be sweet. In Planetside, your command rank would be displayed on your person. That way, you could spot the CR5s easily....seeing them was like seeing a GOD. So cool.

Ahhhh....I see it now. That's excellent news, but it means my medic silver badge isn't as hard to get as it once was At least the gold will be easier! And PS: How funny is the APM FF always off thing? Remember when we tried that? What a disaster.....

Further excellent advice.....I'm actually very good about staying in one spot with the transport....let's work on these badges tonight. I need more play time in titan to get my explosive gold, attack gold, and defend gold badges!

Hey guys! I was thinking about what they are missing in terms of badges, pins, ribbons, and such. Here's what I think are missing: Conquest Resurrection Badge Since tickets in conquest are measured in deaths, rezzing someone is very important. However, the only award is a pin. You need a badge just like the medic badge but for rezzing people. Medic Excellence Medal Just a general medal that you get after a certain number of heals and rezzes. Maybe 100h with the medic hub too. Stealth Badge Somehow award recon people who use the invisibility shield in a good manner....not sure how you could measure it, but I cap so many flags and silos by sneaking past people. I think I should be awarded for it! Sniper Excellence Badge Count kills with a sniper rifle / time as recon. And lasty.....FIXED HEALS AND REPAIRS. Make heals and repairs more like ammo giving....if you do anything with either, you get a point. It takes too damn long to get healing and repair points. Sometimes I'll repair a tank by 75% and STILL not get a repair point! I can't get anywhere on that badge! Sucks.... So what do you think should be added?

I thought titan drops are when you use the pod to jump out of the titan. But on my BFHQ stats, it only lists 7 titan drops when I've probably use the pods 50 times.... So what is a titan drop? Thanks!

Excellent stuff. The information on moving and cover was helpful in the combat guide. The general "A good SL" were helpful too. I'm rather guilty of forgetting I'm SL and just diving into combat. Good commander points but no real secrets or anything shocking. In the end, really amazing read! Someone's going for supreme commander........

I'm a lieutenant colonel silver. I'm 92 hours in. Kinda stuck though since I'm not near any gold badges right now. Got all of the easy ones
