  1. :peace: -Not to be out done by some weird kid, I feel I must share the foody goodness as well. (sammich=sandwich) ...too much ZiM I feel. ------------------- what you need: -2 soft hero/sub/whatever you want to call it rolls, split (I prefer the 8" rolls) -several slices of swiss cheese -about 1/2 pond of roast pork (left-over pork chops ), slice it thin -smoked ham (I use the sammich slices, not exactly deli fresh...BUT I DON'T CARE!! ) 1 Dill pickle, again THIN slices 2 Tablespoons of melted butter...roughly 1 minced garlic clove -------------------- Pile the pork, ham, cheese, and pickles onto the bread. Mix together the butter and garlic. Brush the mixture onto the 'outside' of both sides of the sammich. Heat a large, heavy skillet on mid-low and place the sammich in the middle. Use a spatula or another pan to 'press' the sammich until one side is well browned and the cheese starts to melt, then flip and repeat. --It cooks up quite fast and is really yummy. ------------------------------------------------------- What you need: 2 teaspoons of butter A pear (Anjou are best because of thir firmness IMHO) -peel, core, and slice Salt and Pepper (to taste, some do not like either...that is fine) Several ounces of Brie (about 5 or 6) 1/4 cup toasted whole cashews (not honey glazed:rolleyes:) 1-2 lemon wedges -------------------- Preheat oven to 400 In a saute pan, heat the butter on medium until it stops bubbling. Ad the pear slices, increase heat slightly, and season with salt and pepper (again, to taste...not necessary). Saute for a minute or so just to soften the pears a little and give the a golden color. Spriz with lemon and move them onto a plate. Keep them warm. Place the Brie on a plate that your oven will not destroy and bake for about 3min (or until the cheese starts to ooze a bit) CAREFULLY transfer the 'molten Brie' to a serving plate with a spatula. Sprinkle the Brie with some cashews. Use the Brie as a 'dip' for the pear slices --If done right, the flavors do not overpower each other. Dispite the lengthy instructions this is a really fast recipe when you get good at making it. --------------- :oThere are a bunch more...perhaps I will type them up later. Interesting story about my culinary career: A friend of the family has a live-in chef. When I was young I would hangout with him when we would go over there....mostly for the free food and his funny accent:D. When I got older he let me help and taught me some neat little things. He died about a year ago:(, but I still remember some of the 'secret recipes' he 'took to the grave' that he only showed me.
  2. -ZOMG, he went there!!
  3. -yes! :peace: -I moved my coffee pot to my computer desk lol.
  4. -I like the part where the guy was in a building, firing from a window, and when he was shot at, instead of ducking for cover, his 1337gaming skillz kicked in and he started jumping lolol:rolleyes: :peace:
  5. -So...at what point is the US going to take a break from our war and give these guys a hand??? I assume we are already there...right?
  6. -Removal of the pods, you now just pop up when you spawn LOLOL...:rolleyes:I dunno:p
  7. -If you have the money for it, get a fuel-oil\water tank and have it installed in your attic. Have it plumbed to a valve into the main water line in the house...fill it, and let it sit...when there is a water crisis, you can turn a valve and there should be enough pressure to use sinks, toilets, etc. Don't forget to add a tap on the water tank itself...just in case. :peace:
  8. -Uh oh, EA fixed something...I remember when they "optimized" titan and made it more laggy. Now we are going to have a new bug... PTD--PodToDesktop! :plolol
  9. -The leader of the squad your where in had one...not you. -Yep...that is one opinion...
  10. -Like the Sniper Decoy, it takes some inelegance and knowledge to use. Therefor, most of the 2142 players label it "useless".
  11. If you spot someone with the netbat it puts a diamond on them. If someone kills them with an accipiter gun drone you get a targeting assist.
  12. -Use the shields ('X' button as default). There is a little cross-hair picture that will appear at the bottom-center of your screen when you are targeted, and a klaxon(buzzer) will sound. -Try to travel low. AA missiles can lock on but the lock is broken by ANY object in their path...If the firer can not maintain a lock until the missile is close it just falls out of the sky. The war-birds missiles will keep circling until they hit you if you are at high altitude, but NOE(Nape Of Earth, ie LOW!) flight will make them hit the ground and/or obstacles. -Other than that, learning how to fly well makes a big difference. The whales can actually out maneuver the war-bird. Example: If a gunship is on your six and firing, hit shields and nose up hard. This will cause the missiles fired to hit your shields and your craft will instantly go in reverse and loose altitude. The advantage of this is twofold; one, the gunship will likely lose you as they can not turn quite that fast, at full thrust, second, you will have time to evacuate your payload or nose down (gaining you lateral speed and again passing under the gunship but at a much lower altitude). That was just one of many maneuvers that have prover very effective in the past for me. -that is all
  13. -Well, Sharpy might say no, and to an extent I do agree with him, but I say a buck an unlock and some badges/ribbons that are EASY to get and give you unlock points instead of points is worth it for a new player. It is after all $10 dollars, just remember you are probably not going to play it after you get the badges/ribbons.
  14. -Clarify the first question -Play single-player to learn the war-bird. -Over time you will gain stats and awards you did not think possible, do not worry about them.
  15. -K, I am just noticing this...I do not care about stats, so I can not tell if mine are off...I still think it is a neat stats page.
  16. This may have been posted before... ...BUT I DON'T CARE!!!! http://www.2142-stats.com/Freefall357+stats.html type your name in the top left search textbox and flip through the tabs...you can even find out who has your tags.
  17. -Anti-TBag tech...FIRST perk I am going to use  play a little pop-a-loser ...perhaps Anti-knife? HEY PHROGG, lets test this baby . lol -Fantastic information compilation Gator-Ebert and roper give it two thumbs up  (at gunpoint )
  18. -looks interesting...I shall give it a shot. If you guys don't mind a noob tagging along I could join ya.
  19. -aww, don't pick on G...he was the reason I looked into The Armory. -As for Sven...whas dat?!?

-Did I say that???...Nope, it is more strategic than the RTSs you mentioned, which are more of a tactical feel...Strategy and tactics are two different things:cool: ^_^ -See if you can find Urban Assult...really old RTS, but no base...you deploy your units and capture grid-locations, you can also 'drive' the units yourself.
  22. Freefall357 replied to Postman's topic in Gaming
-It is just a different RTS. There are other RTS games out there that have no base and 'free cameras'. Also, RTS games are tactical affairs with very little strategic thought needed...WiC, SupCom, and TA:S are the only truly strategic RTS games that come to mind at the moment. The only real new feature though is VOIP, which is really needed in the RTS community. -Not to shoot down EVERYTHING you just said Norcal, LOL. ^_^ -BTW; you, Cossu, and I need to join up and school these kids on team warfare LOL.
