Kill streaks mean that you have to kill that many without dying. so if you've got a 7/10 kill streak, the highest number you've killed before dying is 7. you'll need to get 10 before dying to get the ribbon.

Hey freefall, sorry i wasn't able to chat with you longer yesterday, i was on the phone for most of the time while playing. IMHO this game is all about teamwork and communication. most of the time, my k/d ratio blows, but my teamwork and overall score is decent because i'm running around reviving/healing/resupplying and working with other squad members. what makes the game enjoyable is a squad that not only works together, but also realizes that this is just a game and has fun together, whether winning or losing. As long as you don't take the game too seriously, you should be able to keep the game fun. i hope you don't stay away from the game too much, it'd be nice to squad up with you again sometime.

somewhat off topic but.. Having worked at at the Public Defender's office, I could see where you're coming from on this Wolfey. However, I wouldn't change a thing with the system we have in place now. Our criminal justice system is premised upon the theory that everyone is innocent until proven guilty. The purpose of those technicalities is to ensure that every suspect, whether ultimately guilty or not, is afforded due process. Think what would have happened if we ignored those technicalities with the Duke lacrosse players and admitted the photo lineup consisting only of Duke lacrosse players... those innocent boys would still be suspected rapists. There's a saying among PDs that it's better to let 10 guilty people go free than to incarcerate 1 innocent person. While this seems like a drastic statement, I'm sure you'd want all the technicalities available if you were that innocent person.

Here's something that I found interesting. Guns may not ultimately be the problem...i get the whole guns don't kill people, people kill people, and second amendment arguments; but our society isn't doing much to solve the underlying issue compared to other countries. if we're going to give people the right to have guns, then we better make sure that those people use them responsibly. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070418/ap_on_re_eu/virginia_tech_world_view

Seems appropriate that this would be my first post on this forum. Gotta disagree with you DbDriven. Armory ranks in the top of the many servers that I've played in terms of quality and fun. I don't disagree that there are some down times when either there aren't that many players on, or when the teams are severely lopsided, but I'm sure that's a problem that almost every other server out there has experienced. I think the difference with Armory is that the Armory peeps do a great job in trying to make sure that everyone has fun. I've been on Armory a number of times where various players, both Armory and non-clan, have switched sides to try to make the game more balanced. Regardless of which side you are on, I think the trick to enjoying your time on any server is to play with a good squad. Overall, I'd say that Armory is a darn solid server. Thanks!
