Now see that's the strange thing, because when I first started playing it would display the Armory servers. The browser, which was crap from the beginning, just took alot longer to display the entire list of servers. I think it was with patch 1.3 or maybe 1.2 that it disappeared, anyway it was definately displaying at the beginning. I have the same questions as Klif. As of now it's displaying around 12,500+ servers so I wonder how many are not showing and why. Anyway it's just weird.

So I've heard alot of complaining about the difficulty of keeping the server populated. I notice that the armory servers never show in the Server Browser screen. I have the IPs saved on my favorites page and also on Xfire so it's not a problem for me but it would be hard for the casual broswer looking for a server to find ours. /monthly_06_2011/post-2140-130810224843_thumb.jpg

I'm getting a smiliar error with my copy. After I patched to 1.4 everytime I load up BF2142 it still tells me when I log on that "A new patch is available". And I get virtually no servers on the server list. I haven't tried to fix either since I've been in COD4 so much. I just reinstalled my OS so I'll see what happens when I reinstall the game.

Thanks for the advice SSPEAKS it pointed me in the right direction. There is no Activision folder for Steam users but I did find it here: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty 4\players\profiles I thought I had browsed through all the steam folders but missed it the first time.

I'm going to be doing an OS reinstall and was wondering if anyone knows for sure how to backup your player profile with COD4. I play via Steam and there is a backup function for the game but I'm not sure if it just save the downloaded game files or if it also includes save data.

There are two gunships per team. One on the titan and at the main base. I do have to say I like this map. When you have full teams it's pretty fun and not "too big" if you get tired of running around and want a massive amount of tanks and walkers on a huge map. I wish more maps were being released. Anything to make up for that pathetic Northern Strike expansion.

I always wondered why the spawn pods were not as manuvaurble as the launch pods like on the APCs, Titans and those new pods in NS. Speaking of rooftops and expoits I remember seeing guys hitching rides on top of their SL drones.
