For a time, or several times throughout it's history it has been. Its role changes every decade or so it seems. Its been a training base, George W Bush learned to fly here. When I was a kid it was mainly an F16 base. They've had the Jolly Green Giant para rescue group for a long time (they were featured last year on Nat Geo's show). They are currently home of the Flying Tigers who are flying A-10s, para rescue, and a base defense group. Don't know what they'll be once the A-10s are phased out in the coming years.

They still kick, make noise and fire but yeah nothing beats seeing the thing you're pointing it at go away.

Hey guys, hope everyone is doing well. Sorry I'm not around much anymore, work and married life keeps my schedule pretty busy, but I wanted to share my work day today. I was shooting for our local paper and hanging out with Reaper 5 squad and the rest of the 820th Base Defense Group at Moody AFB today. They're featured in National Geographic show "Inside Combat Rescue" which has a new installment coming out soon. I got to play with some of the toys, got rolled over in a MRAP, avoided IED's, and met the nicest puppy. So anyone else excited about Mechwarrior Online or Hawken coming out in this year? It's been quite a while since any good Mech shooters have been out on the PC. Mechwarrior in particular was a very important game for me in the FPS realm and I can't wait to strap back into a Madcat. Wondering if any Armory members will be representing. I believe both games will be free2play.

Lot's of good fixes we've all been looking for. Massive because it includes the Back to Karkand maps but they won't unlock til next week. Curse you Sony!!!

Yeah I've done the repair and everything I else I could find to do. I've been scouring the various forums trying every fix I can find with no luck yet.

I've been trying to get in and play with you guys but I haven't been able to get the game to launch except for the campaign mode when I click " go offline". I've tried everything. Re-downloading/installing again today. Oh well you all needed a head start to make it fair =P

Checked my email and got mine at 10:53AM EST. 35% downloaded at the moment. See you all on the Battlefield!

Yeah the vuvuzelas are ridiculous. Terrible idea all you can hear is that damn drone. I've caught nearly every game so far. Been watching the on ESPN3.com and listening to the live feed on my iPhone so I'm hearing it in my sleep. BTW I rooting for England but was happy to see the US actually put up a fight. That goal was stupid though. They should throw Robert Green in the tower.

Your mobo manufacturer should have a utility to flash your bios. Some provide a program you can run in windows but the best way is to download the update to a thumb drive and flash from your bios screen. Again your mobo manufacturer should have directions on their support page.

They have one these (or maybe it's a sony 3d tv) on display at best buy. It really didn't look that great, maybe it was just the movie they were playing but the 3D is really subtle. Of course you have to wear the glasses too so you have to have enough for everyone or all they will see be a really out of focus/blurry picture.
