i've played some of the call of duty and medal of honor games and i wasn't too hyped up about it...so i'm a bit skeptical about call of duty 4...looks great so far but i'll wait to see how it goes. and as much fun as team fortress was during the quake era...it's been quite used up already in half life, and fortress forever. i would've loved to try teamfortress 2 but paying 60cdn bucks for it (and half life 2 which ive already played) just doesnt seem as appealing. gawd i wish i was some rich doctor who worked half a month and gamed the other half

QuakeWars and The Orange Box will be coming out early next month. I preordered my quakewars but my bro wants it. Wondering if i should keep my quakewars or try for orange box. Might end up getting both but that depends on howmany players from armory are on each.

im sure an 8800gts 320 could run anything at the moment. maybe not on max settings but it should run smooth.

i've always preferd nvidia. plus in the future, directx 10 will take over the world hand in hand with microsoft.... and bill gates.... u cannot resist. vista will spread. it is your destiny. *chanting ...micrsoft.....microsoft....microsoft... if money is that big of a deal, u could always go for 1 geforce8800gts 320. i only have 1 and i could run bioshocks demo on 1024x768 max settings. wait till christmas and buy the 2nd one then slap it on. thats what i plan to do.

I have a couple questions for those of you plaing Tabula Rasa. I didn't get into the closed beta and from the looks of things, its gona stay closed till they release the full version of the game...so i'm not gonna get a test spin. My first question. In this game, is the strength of your character based on the amount of time u put into it, or the amount of skill and experience your have in shooter games? I've somewhat enjoyed the MMO genre but recently i'm finding myself with less time to play. When i see some asswipe trash talk me simply because he spent an extra 5 hours leveling, i get annoyed, go on battlefield, join some crappy server and stomp them till i get a vote kick. umm... moving on... 2nd question. Gringo mentioned it was turnbased. I can't really imagine a turnbased shooter. care to enlighten a bit more? I'm most curious about the pvp team vs team thingy. 3rd! Howmany of you are gonna get it? From what i read, its sposed to be squad based ish. where 1 person carries standard light firearms, another person carries a bigger rifle, and 1 more takes a rocket launcher. The more players, the more reasons for me to get it. 4th. Twitch reflex sniping!!! is there any of that? a 1 shot head shot miracle from billions of miles away? I have a crazy sniper friend...if theres some of that, then theres 1 more player for me to add.

I bought luminous arc. the story is kinda kiddish but the gameplay has been quite fun for me. strategy based rpg...alot like final fantasy tactics. Another good time waster is etrian oddysey...pretty good dungeon crawler. If your looking to exercise ur brain a bit, picross is pretty good fun. its like sudoku and minesweeper combined.

mine started with "Griiim" cos... u know... grim reapers....kill...and i did alot of it since quake1. I did 3i's because if you did a player search with grim, u'd find hundreds. Anyways, i was playing some cs when 1 of the players i often played with came on and said "griiimmmehhhh" (sounded like southparks timmeh). It stuck...plus the girl gaming friends think its cute. >=)
