The only problem with xfire NOW is it introduced the new xfire where you can actually use your mouse when the in-game menu comes up and a bunch of other features. Xfire is really good about bringing out patches and maintaining their program, so I'm sure something will be fixed. The first xfire had problems too, but they fixed that.

My friend who knows EA's presidents daughter (and went out with her) got the chance to play bf3 in 2006. He said it was awesome but I'm sure since then the game has changed a lot.

well thats a "crack"... Well, try for the heck of it. Get Daemon Tools and then setup a fake cd drive with it. Put the DVD image in it and try playing. No gaurantees. Whats wrong though? I just saw you playing last night.

i dont get it... He didn't even look for whatever server is he was even looking for? Also, its not like all the servers are going to pop up in the first half a second... Maybe I'm missing something....

When your in game and in the log in screen where it shows each of your soldiers. I'm pretty sure you go to "Change Details" and I think its in there somewhere. Not 100% on this.

Default I think is Scroll Lock + S. Go into Tools>Options>Chat and then set it to w/e there. Restart xfire and then get into game. I would recommend though go through all the xfire options because they do have some cool features :klinked:

Actually when you go into a game. Click on your xfire in-game popup thing and use the mouse and click on the setup (which i believe is a wrench symbol) and then mark the box that says "show fps" or w/e. couldnt believe i was getting over 100 fps in 2142 today. you can use that for every game and not console commands.
