Nevermind, got this all fixed up. Not quite sure what the problem was, either I had to restart the comp, or just that my cogeco security service was mysteriously not working at the time and blocked the connection from the game. ;o

So I just installed the demo.. after problems with the stupid directx9 installation and windows site not being able to verify me.. And so I can get to the login screen, but it keeps saying that I cannot connect to the EA master server when trying to login. The 'Trying to connect' window will just stay up until I click cancel.

yeah i used to be really damn addicted to partypoker before. i mean like that's the only game i played for like a couple of months, hours a day. this game will definately replace any 2d poker game now

Well my family is asking what I want, and I'm telling them to just not get me anything, but they insist that I tell them something. So now I'm wondering whether to get something like a video card (i have a radeon 9600xt atm), another stick of ram (i have 512mb so far..), or something like an acoustic guitar (i started learning guitar this year, i bought an electric a few months ago). I would, ofcourse, help pay for the vid card/guitar if i decided to get that, though. So I need some suggestions on what to ask for.. Thanks

Free online and 3D poker game. You gotta give it a try.
