Well i speak, dutch, english and french, i am from Belgium where there are if i am not mistaken 3 official languages, 1)Dutch 2)French 3) german. but english is more used than German, i am planning to learn some Turkish, but becouse i have a spelling disorther, it isn't that easy. and if it is up to some crazy politician arrabic would be the 4th language

I was just reading the "international support for questions" toppic and was wondering how many languages you speak, you may also comment from what country you are from, and how many official languages they have there... and ofcourse if you are planning to learn some more... (btw Latin and ancient greek dousn't count)

After all reading this i came to the conclusion to stop whining about the past, what is happend is happend nothing to change about that. Now lets just look at the future, first of all to stop people from becomming terrorists you need to get rid of the reason they become them(well you can never stop all of them, but you can prevent the largest part). the main reason i think is poverty, BAD education and lack of information.Point 2: Rebuild iraq as fast as possible and get those soldiers out of there, people never like to see their country occupied by other people.(we can know it, Belgium has been occupied by like every great nation in history)Point 3: if nothing of that works, i think build a wall around their territory and forget them, let them fight it out. It is their war, not ours(i am not very proud of my idea). Sometimes i think the israel-palestine conflict will only be solved of one of the parties is gone... it seems like the hate is already there when they are born, although i sometimes wonder of they actualy want peace, Isreal and palestine. Sounds just like the catholics and protestants in Ireland. But i think we should try to solve things trough diplomacy, only fight when there is no other option, or when you are invaded... And comparing Iraq with Nazi Germany in WW2 is to mush honnor fore Iraq, Germany had a great Airforce, tanks, and infantry, their U-boats where great, Iraq hardly had a navy, obsolete plains, demoralised infantry and sucky tanks and other things. Their generals can hardly be compaired with the military genius of some of the German generals. The only thing i can find as a resemblence is Hitler and Sadam, they both have done some horrible things.

Well if i may be as free to tell you, that we all thank the US of helping us get rid of Hitler, whole of Europe(maybe even more, would be Nazi now if it wasn't of the US, GB and the former USSR(they lost over 10.000.000 soldiers/people in that war) but you will have to see that things aren't what they used to be. Visions on the world have changed, where people used to use war to solve problems, most countries now have a more diplomatic solution. I think the best example of diplomatic succes is Europe, there has never been as mush peace in like 1000 years than now. You can get peace by diplomatic ways(like Europe now) or by military force(Europe after the Napolionic wars, well they didn't get total peace, look at the crim war[it think it is spelled]). So i dont think war is the best thing to solve terrorism, violence only creates more About the pre-emtive strikes(again not shure about the spelling) that is just stupid, the only one who i can remember who did those things was, sorry to say this, Hitler who invaded i think it was Roemania to prevent them to join the allied forces(here it was the USSR i think) ofcourse there were some economical issues to, like the oil and acces to the black sea.Now about the antrax, i can make it in my kitchen if i want. If i wanted to make bio weapons i could buy the equipment from the Pentagon at VERY low prices(they stoped doing that like a few weeks ago thanks to an internal investigation or something like that), they even supplied weapons without looking at who bought them, like countries with a lot of terrorism. Weapons of mass destruction: weapons that kill a lot of people, like the huge bomb they used in the Afganistan war to bomb the caves, i dont say you may not kill terrorists, but like somebody once said, only who are innocent may trow the first rock, so look at yourself first before you start to accuse others of doing things you actualy do yourself(k the us has some more "civilised" manners of fighting than suicide bombings, but the effect is the same, even bigger)... In a war there is never a good and bad, only bad. You think you are doing the right thing, but so dous the enemy :? =>conclusion: IMHO i think that the US takes a to agressive stand in the world... If every country that ever got bombed by terrorists started a war the whole world would be in war

thanks, and i agree with your statement. He isn't exactly the best president the US has ever had, and his election is doubtfull. But than you have to say that nobody is perfect and even Bush is just human(well that is what he pretends to be ) and we all make mistakes, but i think he made a lot in such a short time. Sad that Arnold cant run fore president...

You probalby dont know it but there was a poll from CNN and some other magazine about the level of trust in Mr Bush and the American way of dealing with the other country's in the world (i think it is called foreign policy of something like that) in Europe. Now the results where "revealing" so now i want to see if the Armory players have different oppinions... (they never asked me anything ) *need to learn some better english*

K, I dont remember you ever playing against me. But anyway it is always sad to see a FA player leave. Well can tell you that the steam logo is an part of an old steam engine, you know the part that made the weels go round, well at least that is what i see in it. btw steam engine isn't fast, Steam eather, kinda a good resemblence

I had some problems with it in the begining, but i then downed the full steam installer, and it worked very well... Only problem i had was when steam auto-updated itself and than frose, now all the tekst on the buttons is gone, but that dousn't mean i cant play Never had a ping problem playing DoD on steam, but becouse my PC broke i havent been able to play FA 2.8...And it is easy to use, only the auto-updating games takes to long i think, one moment you are downing with like 750kb/sec and the other moment you have 5kb. That is the only thing about steam i have to say....

hehe the only cool bug i ever had was in 2.7 when i had endless ammo fore the m82, was kinda cool

Well i do like the AK47 with heavy armor and nomancalture -> mark1->med1 -> med2 -> mark2... but i also like to use stealth, or the sig3000 the AK74 is very nice to, the m60 and minimi rule to, love the m82, never use the SVD... I started playing in 2.5 with or: m16a2 with FAMAS, or m4 with FAMAS, those configs rocked Also the Aikibo Combo's(i think it was) and or the MP5 or the shotgun...

Well i think that if valve screwed the Multiplayer they are just plain stupid, that is the thing that makes us play HL(in a different version ofcourse) even now, and the game is like 5 years old. And I would say **** valve if they are gona lets us pay fore HL2 MP, i know that a lot of people dont have a creditcard(me fore instance and transferring the cash by bank is probably more expencive than the monthly fee), and hey most parents already complain about to mush gaming, do they really think that they are gona pay fore it? I just hope Valve keeps it free, you do know that by using steam fore HL2 and HL1 they can let us pay fore using Steam to play every future valve game, and even fore playing HL1... Lets pray to the mighty menkey that they dont do something that stupid or i am gona need to organise a LOT of lan parties.

well i have downloaded the full steam version(the one with CS on it) installed it, wait untill it is completly updated and than you can coppy your FA folder to steam/steamappz(or something like that)/"your e-mail"/half-life/Well that is what i did and now it is in 3th party mods if i run steam... I doubt it to, i am playing on a Athlon Tunderbird 1200mhz, with a Gforce2mx but it plays fine, although i have only played FA on steam lately i have never even seen this problem.

I you read this you start wondering how old you guys are, maybe usefull fore a statistic on how age affects skill or something like that... But ofcourse always fun to know...If you are wondering i am 18(19 in december) and at the moment i am studing psychology at the University of Leuven(Belgium)

Hehe i know the problem I have been playing FA on steam fore like a week now(well actualy i only played it like 2 times, no players on the servers, play DOD and Cs now, but way to easy) i even encountered some bots on a FA-server, you could only kill them with nades or knife, i tell you the fun is over in like 10min. But i am sure it will get better as soon as everybody NEEDS to play on steam. BTW is it true that HL2 is fore november?Grtz Decepticon
