Well dont look yourself blind on those 50% taxes, you get most of it back. The only problem is the Matheus effect, those who have most get most. It isn't meant this way, it just always turns out like this. Rich people go to a doctor a lot-> Most of the bill is payed back by the state. The poor they dont go to the doctor that ofthen(lack of cash). So they don't profit the most from it. It is also being invested in school(best school system in the world they say) The pensions is a bigger problem. Your pensions get payed by the generation after you, it is payed by the people who are still working. Now becouse the Baby-boom generation is going to retire soon, what means a lot of old people and a lot of pensions. You have less active working people who have to pay more pensions. And now becouse we are a democracy i can see a doom scenario rising. Old get organised, vote fore a new old guys party, they have the majority so we end up working like 42 hours a day fore a crappy pay while they are sitting their ass of in the carraiben or some other exotic location. Ofcourse not everybody gets a pension of the state, the doctors and bakers and those other professions that involve starting your own company pay fore their own pensions. They get a little bit from the state, but that is not much. It may sound a bit strange but it is part of our way of life, we fought fore it, people died fore it and we are planning to keep it. And about sitting on our but, Flemish are the hardest workers in the world, we got great education and productivity. We live to work, not work to live

mmm, lets think what do i have to say about this.... Democracy is great, but when dous a democracy becomes a dictatorship of the majority? Let me give you an example. Belgium a federal country with 3 states: Flanders, Brussels and the french speaking thing. Now the Flemish are 60% of pop, so they could even enslave the others. is that fair? ofcourse it isn't But hey it was voted in a democracy. Now about kapitalism, it is killing itself. It moves to low income countries to get more profit. if they move they take money away from the market they come from. you know jobless people have no cash so they cant buy anything. Becouse of lower sales the companies that stayed move or go bankrupt (or something like that) -> even less jobs -> even less money. And becouse they are not paying the people who work fore them enuf money to buy their products, they can't make an other market fore it. So they end up dead. And now something about the rich. I dont mind the rich as long as they spend their money. The problem with an economic crisis like this is that people dont buy enuf. Becouse they have no money. You can ask yourself, where has it gone? the rich have it and are not spending it. So you keep the people from having more money. And now about taxes. you complain about 33% taxes??? Lets see, here you give about 50% to the state, so you lose 50% of your income, and you need to pay extra tax at the end of the year. you pay 21% tax on goods, and god may know how much on fuel. But the good thing about the 50% tax is that it go's in social security-> people get that money, it is being spend -> money keeps roling -> keeps economy going

Now i never got those freedom fries thing, i know it used to be french fries, but that has nothing to with the french. It comes from to french what means to cut in peaces or something like that. The fries are a Belgian product

who ever told you that you need a joystick to fly a helicopter??? I fly the thing with my keyboard and mouse. i use e= accelerate, d= the other thing(i think it reverse the movement of the rotor) f= pitch right s= pitch left. and than ofcourse mouse it is the same as with FA, up= nose up, .... now as you might have noticed a heli go's forward if the nose is a bit down. same with DC, and dont press pitch to much it is hard to control. and if u use the mouse you can also fire I can kill almost everything now with a heli, and i can land to rearm exept the blackhawk, that thing is hard to land, but i will master it :twisted:

Well it is not that hard to kill a tank with a helicopter, or a mine or any other explosives, try to hit it from behind. Shoot at it with a howitzer(love those things, kill a BMP in 1 shot). And the helicopter is easy to shoot down with some AA or that mobile AA gun, that eats your helicopter in like 5 sec. The best infantry weapon is the M82 it is hidden on some maps, like bocage day2 it can be found in iraki base near the sandbags where the hinds are.

is it just me or is nobody ever online? I became good in flying the helicopter and i do want to use my skills on you :twisted:

How many maps are in the cycle? i played yesterday all alone on the server and only 1 map with like 4 cars in the whole map

Indeed this is serius, I agrea we should find him some help, do we have a name, adress anything? in the mean time just keep posting, if we are posting and he is reading he isn't killing himself, that is a positive thing

k, that might be but killing yourself is not a good thing to do... There used to be a time where you could die and nobody cared, nobody noticed and there was no problem at all, untill they found your body ofcourse. But now these days it costs a HUGE amount of money to die, leaving everybody else with that problem. And what dousn't kill you only makes you stronger... (btw dous this also happen with other mods, becouse otherwise the FA players have a problem )

Count me in guys I just can't fly a plane or a helicopter, it always seems to crash

Sorry that i voted no, but well it is dark indeed, the text is good, but the lay-out can be better. Try adding more colours. But it is good fore a first try, it is better than my first HP...

My fav map ever was ps_bridge... loved the pure 2.5 chaos and killing of that map, the pure intense adrenaline rush of capping that last flag dodging bullets at the same time. And when all is over you see you have like 2hp left, now that was ps_bridge fore me... It also remembers me of the Aikibo-combo's and the M4, loved those guns

I have known this one, cant remember the correct answer...option 1: they build a catapult and shoot everybody to the other side 8) option 2: the bridge can carry only 2 people, BUT if they sit on chainsaw charlies back they all take 1 minute to cross. -> 2+2+2=6 minutes to cross, :idea: hey that way they can even let weasel go on foot this way. 2+2+1+10= 15option 3: they call a cab :roll:option 4: charlie takes out his chainsaw, :twisted: kills the rest, gets all the body's to the other side (dousn't take that long) and brings them back to live with some magic spell or a medivac.

Finaly a war last one i played was a DoD war... Lost that one thanks to our bad teamplay(our first war as a dod team) but individual scores where better than theirs.(won caen and lost some other map where you needed to steal documents, never played that map before) And my last FA war ended in a draw becouse we had a ping of 3500, not fun to play with... We would have slaughterd them(we were like nr2 on world ranking at that time, k it was a clq ranking, a few weeks earlyer we were nr1 ) Aaaah the good old 2.5 memories

Cool, hope i can come. give me a date(not a girl, but something like 25 november, well a girl if fine to), and i will see if i can come, try the weekends or friday(no school on friday), and not during christmas hollidays, need to learn fore my exames and try to look at the difference in time...

Well if TA should expand, i dousn't mean they need an other server, I think it would be the best to stick with FA becouse that is what TA is all about, but there i nothing wrong with starting a section fore an other mod, dousn't mean you have to get a new server. Belgian Para's had a DoD section, and all played on the Telenet servers(need a pass fore that now, and i know it ) they made it their home server.

Hey not true, i know a great clan ICCD, it is in DoD, UT2003 i think and some other games, and they own big time, well at least in DoD... Woudn't mind to see TA in DoD btw, i am planning on playing that game a lot more, Dont like FA2.8, it isn't fun anymore

The only thing i ever did was Athletics, but that became boring and i quit when i was 12... Started when i was 5 a 6 years old, was good at short distances... now the only sport i do is gaming

Best score i ever had was 200/17 but that was when the world was still flat also know as FA 2.5but still 30/1 is a VERY good score

Congrats scorpio!!! i am 18 myself 19 in december... I tell you next year when you become 18 it is NOT special, well at least not here, the only thing you can do more is pay taxes and you are responsible fore your own actions...
