Yesterday it was federal election day (last year it was national) and once again the extreme-right party(with the natural extreme right points and the indipendence of flanders) made big progress (+6% or so) even though they have been convicted fore racsim (or something like that, dont know the exact spelling) and are now the 2nd biggest party in Flanders :x , the Walloons dont have problems with extremists. Lucky you :Di think i am gona declear my house indipendent from the rest if they ever gain power...

I think this applies to almost every ball game... But who cares??? Soccer/football is fun!! Lets just hope that Holland dousn't win it. It would be very anoying. I live just by the dutch border and i am very fond of my sleep... (and ofcourse the old vendetta between Belgium and Holland when it comes to football)

Why do i feel i get a lot of ad homine arguments?? Anyway we may not forget that the school system in europe is very different than in the US. Although according to a UN survay Belgium has one of the Best school systems in the world, it is also one of the hardest. We can't choose our classes the way u guys can. We can only choose a packet and Sports is limited to 2 hours a week. I had 4 hours of dutch and french and economy, 3 English, 2 history, math, media, geography, sports, psychology, science, moral/relgion, and 1 sociology. That is 32 hours a week. With homework every day. And at the highest level in Belgian school system, what is supposed to be very high. And than i need to define my *suck* when i say i suck at languages i mean i suck at writing the words(but than again, dutch is one of the languages with the hardest grammatical rules in the world) i am en expert in writing essays. So suck is a bit big. Maybe i would redefine to -> i am not super good, but i dont fail at it. But it shure restricts your options later in university. The first year more than 50% fails, the second year it is around 40%. My talents lie more in the fact that i can talk people into doing things. I can get them on my hands, hanging from my lips, ect. But than again, maybe you are not so open minded to see that intelligence is more than math, science and languages. You have verbal intelligence, emotional intelligence, Musical intelligence,... so you can be smart in different ways. If you have a brilliant general, it dousn't mean he is good at math or science.

No problem flak, i dont mind, i asked fore oppinions and you gave one. And i do blame the system sometimes fore wrong reasons, but that dousn't mean there are no flaws in it. The biggest flaw in the system i think is the fact that we call ourself civilised and advanced when we cant even stop killing eachother. I agrea that rasing a child is a main family thing, but not every kid is lucky to have good parents (i am one of the lucky ones). But the system today makes both parents go to work so there actualy is no one left to raise the kids. And becouse education is the cornerstone of our civilisation (try reading a book called nations and nationalism) it is also the key to improvment and change. I agrea that not everybody would accomplish the things learned, but at least we tried and we helped others. It all might sound a but utopic, but if you never try you will never know

Drugs most of the time has something to do with being cool, doing the things that are not allowed. It is being part of a group, children need that.(there should be other ways than drugs ofcourse). You also have the persons who use it to escape reality. I agrea on an educations whack sometims, you cant argue with a 3 year old. But on the other hand, experiments have shown that punishing your children dousn't stop the behavior, it will just go underground. They say that you should award you kid when they do something good.*edit* I did my IQ test in school. There is more in intelligence than those 3 courses you know. And when i say i suck at math, i suck at the very advanced forms of algebra and the stuff with the triangels. And science, i used to ace Biology, and Chemistry, but becouse i am not that good in learning things by head, it became harder later...

I am not blaming the system fore my bad results, i say the system has flaws. That is all. I have an IQ of +122 so dont start telling me who is smart or not. (100 is normal, +120 is very smart) I study psychology at on of Europe's best Univeristy's (so i know what intelligence is) I got myself an award fore media. I rock at history and geography. I had the best points of my class when I studied economy-human sciences. I know 3 languages (Dutch, French and english). And i played the European finals with young enterprises. I was the best in the yought parlement. And btw i have a disorder called Disortigrapy, looks like being dislectic, but i just write things wrong, instead of 85 i write 58 and stuff like that, i leave words to sometimes. And besides if nobody ever blamed the system the USA wouldn't exist, becouse nobody cared that they where english. Belgium wouldn't exist, I would be dutch. All the big revolutions would never happend. If you dont think about it nothing will ever change.

After one of my very bad exames, i started thinking... Although this idea has spooked around in my mind some time now. I came to the conclusion that our educations systhem is wrong. I mean, we teach the kids the wrong things. Just look at it, we can learn the secrets of chemistry and what do we do with it?? Blow eachother into oblivion.(k, not all of it) Not much has changed with 1000 years ago. We might be smarter, but we still kill eachother like never before. Now what i think school should focus on is learing to live with yourself and others. Let wisdom come first and real facts later. You might not know it but education makes us who we are. It is the monopoly on education that creates a strong country and unity. So there is power in education, lets just use it in a decent way. An other thing i hate is the discrimination in education, in the fact that if you cant do math, languages or science, you have no real future in modern life. Everything is based on math these days. Exept languages ofcourse and sport. This is something i see everyday. I totaly suck at math, sciences and languages. But i am very intelligent, it just concentrates in other things, things that are not important to our civilisation. And i think that it is the part we lack to improve our lifes.We all have a lot, and know a lot. But are we happyer than the ignorent? Or happyer than the people 1000 years ago (ok we have stability and more or less secure food supplies) But to be honest i find only little moments in my life of happyness...Now what do you think, i want no religion and politics. That always ends bad. So say what you think but in a neutral way.

well the wall thing comes from the fact that at the edge(at least that is what we think) a lot of stars seemd to hit something, resulting in supernova's. Well at least that is what they learned me. And it must be one huge calculation to do that. I didn't even know that they knew all energy in the universe. I thought they where still missing some stuff. But ofcourse that can be becouse of out-dated data. And this ofcourse is only true if religion is 100% wrong. And than we haven't even talked about all the possible universes and all the other possible dimensions. We will never know it all i gues, human mind is just not made fore this stuff. Try to immagine an endless universe. Or try to think what other people are thinking, and why they are doing what they are doing. I never managed that. And alien life forms do exist, i am 100% certain.

that is ofcourse if all your theories and hypothises are correct. Becouse the picture of the outscirts of the universe they have a the moment is 15 billion years old.(you know with all the stars colliding against a "wall"). And than we have the big crack theory(universe will stop expanding and will fall together). You still have some others to, but these are the big ones.
