Not in your DC section...I'm not gonna install till someone comes on and says they've installed it successfully and without a hitchI currently have many computer probs (due to port over to XP) and I don't need another one*EDIT*Yeah, I know, I'm stupidjust for the heck of it, I downloaded it, installed it, and fired it up.It worked perfectly for me...Here's what I did.Open the file you downloaded. There should be a readme and a folder called DC_Tanleron (or whatever the mod is called) select the DC_Tanleron folder and extract it to C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\Mods(change the address according to where ur bf1942 file is...)then do nothing else. Don't try to install the background music or movie...you don't really need itIt worked for me on Single Player, and I've yet to try MP

... this is what i'm talking about... all these servers are clogging up my favorites section... and I never knew that HLSW was compatible with Steam *SOMETIME LATER* I just tried to install HLSW and get it to work (join a server) but there's just to many problems with too few answers. Whenever I go into settings and connect the thing to my hl.exe (browse) But then it won't let me play CS. Whenever I try to join a server, it says I have 2 steams installed on my system and that I'm choosing the older version (which it is not). I seek out the other steam, delete it, and try again. Steam opens, has to do an update, and basically just reinstalls that other steam file I just deleted. So whatever, it's not worth the hassle. Does anyone else know a way to get rid of these unwanted servers in my favorites section?

Okmy servers list right now is overflowing with dead servers (<not responding>) servers that are always empty, and multiple versions of the same serverI'm always cleaning it up by right clicking on a server and clicking "Remove server from Favorites"yet whenever I open it later, all the servers are backhow can I permantly delete these unwanted servers!!!

oh yes, I strode in there, pulled out a FAMAS, and let loose on some targets...yes you believe that... It's called "Go to your parents work" day at our school, so I went with my dad to his base. I had very limited time with the weapon (I got to fire about 10 shots, single/full auto< that didn't last long) There was just around 8-10 people there watching me, just in case. You can continue to not believe me, and that'd be fine with me cause I know what I've done in my life...

just so you know, my dad= Ex. Spec Forces (retired just recently) At his base, they have an impressive amount of weaponry from all over the world. He says its so when they do have to go on a mission or something, and the area they're heading off to is a place where...say...the ak47 is widely used, then they quickly train with the AK47s to see how the work and all (also just in case something happens to their weapons, they can take one of the opposistion's weapons and already have a fair bit of training with it) That's how we do it in Canada

ahh...how unrealistic video games are...trust me, you think with all your FA experiance, you could take on some terrorist with a FAMAS and win.Trust me, I've shot one of those. The recoil is incredible, and leading moving (dummy) targets is also extremly hard. People run around with full auto with the FAMAS, when it real life you'd probaly drop the gun before you got off 10 shots...
