I know GSD are known to get hip dysplasia My shep is almost 11yrs old and is having a painful and hard time standing up from laying down long. I am sad to say that I may have to put him down sometime in the future. I think people who don't put their animal down when they are suffering from this or any uncomfortable issue are selfish and cruel towards their pet. I certainly won't feed him pills/meds to prolong his discomfort. He has been a very good friend as well as guard for our family and property. He is okay for now, but if he shows signs of crippling. Well, I'll do what's best for him.

Very Nice. Great companions. Loyal and protective. I love his colors. 2  's up He looks like a King Shepard. Mine is 150lbs. How much does your boy weigh? Mine loves the outside rather than indoors. He also needs to carry something around. Like a used Harley tire.

I have a friend. He is 73 yrs old. He was diagnose with prostate cancer 3 years ago. His doctor wanted to set him up with a 7 week treatment using chemotherapy as well as other bullshit. Well he showed me his leg he had the pea and cabbage in. It's been there for 2 years now. He changes the pea 2 times per day. No pain. The pea absorbs the carcinogens from his body. He told me he went for CT scan and the techs did the scan again cause they could not see the cancer in his prostate, wondering why. The doctor called him in after getting the results and told my friend he can't find any cancer. He told his doctor to go to hell with his meds and treatments.
