Do you use XFire? If yes, stop it and try again... I got a similar msg, with an older version of XFire.Grr... Boja was 1sec faster...

I've got: AMD Newcastle 64 3800+, Box, (2.4GHz),512kB Cache,PGA939 ASUS A8VDeluxe,939,K8T800, Athlon64 ,SATA,Raid,GLAN,Wifi <- Mobo 2xDDR-DIMM 512MB, PC-3200 Samsung,184Pin,400MHz,CL3 but an Asus V9560 TD,256MB,FX5600 from my 'old' PC and this is my bottleneck... so I'm waiting for a X800XT or a GF6800Ultra and then... 8)

Did you change something in the past? Some new components? For me, its sounds like a corrupt RAM (System or GFX)...You don't have problems with other games or software?
