Any car nuts around here?
Anyone else work on cars in this joint? I'm not a great mechanic, but I picked up a Lexus IS 300 to tinker with this fall/winter... loving the 2JZ life.

BF1 Specs
There are various schools of thought on this topic, but when it comes to Battlefield, there is benefit of having hyper-threading with an i7. It really all depends on the game and how much it utilizes CPU - large multiplayer games like Battlefield typically do. I noticed a huge difference in performance when playing Civilization VI on my i7-6700K over my i5-6500. Here is a really great review from Digital Foundry. You'll notice it makes little or no difference on some games, and quite a huge difference on others. The place where I've seen little to no performance gains in reviews is when moving up beyond four cores and eight threads, to 6/12, 8/16.

FOR SALE: Asus Strix Radion R9 390 8GB
I upgraded to a GTX 1080 and I am selling my R9 390. $165 (includes shipping from AK) This thing works fine, but I was at the OCD point with my system and I needed to buy a silver graphics card.

It was a Half-Life 2 / Source Mod. It was developed into a full game a couple years ago.

Best $10 I've ever spent: http://store.steampowered.com/app/222880/ Intense, great graphics, the only good Co-op mode I've ever played.

Other games (not bf)
Civilization VI is crack. I have a problem and I need help. I just finished nuking the shit out of Ghandi and Saldin for trying to convert my cities to Hinduisma and Islam... I'm playing as Harald of Norway and founded my own customer religion of "Odinism"... Odin like dropping nukes more than thunderbolts in the information era.

It's a custom PCB, and has a better power delivery system. I'd spend the extra $10 if it was me. You could also wait a couple months - there should be some good deals going on, and the prices should drop since the pascal GPUs are still new and in somewhat high demand.- BEAT THIS!

The SC edition is just a factory overclocked Reference (Founders) card. To be dead honest, it's worth your while to spend the extra $10 for the FTW.- BEAT THIS!

I had a GS/Husky. Awesome dog. Passed away from Histiocytic Sarcoma. It was tragic. I miss him dearly. Ended up getting a Malamute a few weeks later out of grief. Great dog as well, but no vacuum on the planet can deal with the hair. 97lb. puppy as times. Also have a Black Lab / Jack Russell mix as the "middle child".- HDD speeds

As Danic said, the windows memory manager should handle things, but I think a SSD would help that due to their increased speeds. - WWI Phonetic Alphabet [Spelling Alphabet)
