That transition happened about a month Ago, we started playing BF1942: Desert combat mod, and there was already a clan with [TA], <TAC> looks good so we used it, no-one else had it and it stuck!

1. Quake3 "named" games were written specifically to take advantage of Nvidia (booo)2. ATi's shader is 500tiems better than anything Nvidia!They are both strong in what they do, its like trying to compare chalk and cheese tho, you cannot put these 2 up and say "they are both good at X, one is good and one is bad at Y" etc, because the filtering techniques and such like are different, They are very impressive none-the-less. It will be a hard choice when i come to change this GFX card for sure!

mostly what the title says, at the moment when i activate net_graph 1/2/3 it is in the bottom right, directly on top of my ammo and fire mode keys, how do i change it to the center or top?cheers

LAst time i checked, anyway, you dodnt contribute anything to this server, you dont pay for anything, you are not an admin and. manchini, you are here of your own accord..may i make a suggestion, when YOU pay for this, when YOU own the site and the rights to the domain name, and have copyright and admin power over the forums and content over the site.. YOU can come and tell the people who moderate the site how to admin it and what should be included and not..Until then, flame somewhere else.this post is locked as of now.

its not very cost effective having a sever that no-one can play on. we pay the same ammount for the server (should say gator pays) regardless of whether its full or empty. now would you rather be able to pplay here 24-7 or for 3 days before each steam update?

i have a soundcard tho, would you reccomend a PCI slot cooler maybe? i am gonna dig off the heatsink and see whats under it... didnt think of that.

well the case/mobo is like only 27degC i am worried cause i dont think it should be higher than around 50

OK here goes, i think i am having a problem with my GFX card..it is a 9800XT. (sapphire 256meg)My internal case/mobo temk sits neatly at 27/28degC and CPU is around 45degCBUT my GFX card fluctuates between 70 and 80degC, i have moved everything that was near it in the PCI slots to 2 slots away, tidied up the wires inside the case, and made sure that air is flowing freely from the bottom front case fans, to the top rear exhaust (past the GFX card) and power supply.. i have also removed the PCI slot cover in the slot directly below the AGP slot again to increase cooling.But the temperature has not changed a bit!Speaking to other people, their GFX cards are around 45 deg (same as my CPU)... you guys reckon there is something wrong?

IT WAS A FIREARMS FAMAS ROUND!!!!!!that is overpowered enough to take out an MBT, maybe it got that powerful in real life...Would be interesting to speculate along the lines of a "revolutionary" new type of rifle, (ie someone has developed an affective rail gun? -- wonder if there were any battleship size structures linked to nuclear power stations in the area). this could be anything.. i am sure an hollow tipped modified AT 50cal round would do something, if it hit maybe a flaw in the shell (one in a million shot i know but its possible)i am sure an RPG type shot would leave alot more flashing around the exit of the 1st hole, and it probably would have blown the guys kidney all over the front of his seat!,,..
