Speaking of tutorials, to learn Maya I have to use a tutorial from version 1.0, I have Maya 4.0, so it's a bit harder to figure out menus.Later I'm going to add particle effects and make the ball more life-like with a bit of squishiness. Should be fun.

I'm more excited for HL2 because it will surely have a great mod community like HL. Doom just isn't that super anymore.... killing monsters and zombies is just bleh.

How do you find the DoD respawn system frustrating ? The max time you wait is usually about 10 seconds. In CS you can wait upwards of 3min.

It's like comparing "The Velvet Underground And Nico" to "Loaded".If you heard the 1st album, and you didn't like it, that doesn't mean you won't like "Loaded" because it's actually totally and almost completely different from their 1st album.

The leaked game was from a long time ago anyway, and it wasn't even ready to be played.So any estimates for system reqs shouldn't be too positive. If anything, the real game will run even better on your systems.

Whoever said the minimum for Doom III is 3ghz is an idiot.Doom III is on par (maybe better I don't know) with HL2's graphics. There is no way a game is going to have a minimum requirement anytime soon. So, make sure that if you ever see the person that told you that slap him.

It's so boring, the in-between round wait times are ridiculously long.

That's why you get the addon for BF ! I did ! And Desert Combat is really cool. I can't wait for Secret Weapons.Unfortunately, every game gets old. But, I find, that after a while, they get fun again.
