I never said they weren't good games :o However, in the case of Generals, it had a beta test, and most of the bugs they found and reported were never fixed for the release of the game, they're still trying to fix them. I've never seen a game get released with so many bugs before. And 2 months for a patch that didn't even fix half the problems ? That's not right. Another problem; instea of focusing all their attentions on getting a patch out that finally fixes teh game, they decide it'd be a better idea to work on an expansion for the game which has been out around 6 months and is due out this fall. A bit early for an expansion.

You don't have to be awesome to have fun. I'm not some uber-1337 player, and I still enjoy it.

Desert Combat doesn't run good on my computer anymore, ever since the last patch. And on the my other computer (one I'm on now) I can't download it because something is wrong when I download files sometimes they will just stop partway through. I need a new Ethernet card apparently. Anyway, EoD is my favorite mod. But the regular BF is so much better than EoD and DC (combined).Just to note, EA had nothing to do with Tiberian Sun or Red Alert 2, or Renegade. The sale of Westwood was while they were making Generals. But apparently now the "lack of support fever" that EA has have effected those games as well now. While Generals is a super buggy game, i can't help but love it. Best CnC game since Red Alert. Except the singleplaYEr sucks. Multiplayer makes up for it though.

Who here hates EA ? Make sure to post reasons, I want to see how many people feel the same way as I, which is that they're always in such a rush to make money, they release bugged games (Battlefiled '42, CnC Generals) and before the initial bugs are even fixed, they start work on expansion packs. Anyone who plays Generals or BF'42 should know about how bad EA has been, moreso with Generals, it's disgusting how unsupported the game is. Game's been out 6 months (I think), it took two months (just came out monday) to release a patch to fix a major bug, and it didn't even FIX IT. They had said they tested the patch for 2 weeks. It looks like all they did was open the game and then close it to make sure it worked. So far there has been one post by EA on the forums, all he said was that they were "taking notes" on the problems with the patch. They know the problems because they weren't fixed. He also said that they weren't even working on a new patch (and may not even do so) So, if anyone else has a hate for EA over other games or anything about that awful company, feel free to vent your anger so we can hate togerther.

I just looked at the overview of the map. It's not an extention at all, it's the same path from the water hole, it's just that it has a delicious hole in the wall this time.

Sorry I'm wrong. It appears to be a new passage (probably connected to the path I mentioned) but it looks out over the log and that little sniper ledge you can jump on by the log. If you look though the opening in the wall you can see some grey cliff and the grassy slope. I know that sniper ledge from anywhere. It's defiantely a counter to the snipers. (I well-needed one by the way)

When you drop into the well into the water and you can go up the hallway that twists. Textures look the same. Although I haven't really played in over a week, that's just what it looks like to me.

You can download Return To Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory for free from the Wolfenstein site (not sure of the address). It's good for a free game. It's a standalone mulitplayer game actually, not a demo, so there are plenty of people playing it with good servers.

Aurora Bombers are disgusting. They can't be shot down until they drop their payload (which does a lot of damage to buildings) and if you micro good you can keep them from being shot down.

Any of you c00l dudes have WC3 or CnC:G ?If so, I vote that we play some games of it.(Only post if you have the game(s) or are getting them. I don't want to see any, "wc3 suxorez teh rox0rez" and "cnc is teh w0rstzor")
