Gator

BF2142 has a buddy list built into the Main Menu of the game, so you can easily find where your friends are playing. I have added a new "Profile" field to the forum that will allow us to add our game nicks/names. Please feel free to add your name in this post, as well as in you Profile field. My game nick/name is GAT0R (the "0" is a zero) You can add your buddy name here (at the bottom) You can see an example of my name here

The jury is out on deliberation, but I can tell you that I had a fun time playing it, and look forward to some more action. I think most folks will enjoy the game, but I wouldn't throw my copy of BF2 out of the window just yet. It is very cool though.

Looks cool. Maybe someone could make a nice sig our of those pics ... lol

Yes, I had a blast. I also had 2 stabbing victims in a row (very rare for Gator anyway), and it was brutal (on my part). I got 2 sets of dog tags added to my collection. I also made 3 promotions (easy and fast to get) and got 3 unlocks. I chose the Squad Spawn Beacon. It is way cool, and when you spawn, a Spawnpod drops you in and the animation is awsome.

Sorry, but EA is Valve's publisher now

Nice family Bravo.

Nice find Bravo. I will keep my eyes open for it today.

Very cool Kywalker. Glad to see you are having fun.

Very nice [NwG]~scoutnex~{TD}

It happened to all of us. They did something to their autentication servers I guess. Maybe the patch wll be out tomorrow.

Hi everyone, Someone uploaded a .jpg file to this thread called "Karkand 2.jpg" back in 26 February 2006. The file contained a Trojan virus, so if you opened the file, it may still be on your system. Make a routine check of your system to make sure it is not present. Please be sure to check all you files for viruses before you uploading them to the website. -Gator

Looks like a milk churn to me.

Here is their response to me after I requested to be given a key or a refund:

I just wrote them and requested a Beta key NOW!, or a full refund of my money. EA is directly releated to the Devil himself. I will let you all know what their reponse is.

I applied for the beta but didn't get a key. Was my beta spot reserved? FilePlanet is screening all users registering for the beta. Keys for the first round of the beta are VERY limited and only a few people will be able to play in the first phase. Those keys are on a first come, first served basis. If you received a key, you were one of the lucky few, hardcore members that got in the first round of the beta. If you received a message that your spot has been reserved, you have passed the screening but all the keys for the first phase are currently depleted. You will gain priority access into the next phase as soon as it opens on the Thursday the 24th. If you were thanked for pre-registering for the beta and told that additional members will gain access soon, you are on our contact list to get in the second phase which starts on the 24th.

I signed up and it said I was accepted, and now it says I have to wait until a slot opens up. What kind of BS is that?

Hang in there champ.

Be a FilePlanet subscriber.

Well, for one thing. Some were running the tests at 1024x768, which make a big difference. Some were runing the tests at a much higher setting, which will result in lower numbers, so turn your settings down to 1024x768 and see what reading you get.

Good to hear Kywalker. Maybe one day you will be able to visit the United States.

Hi Cpt. Perserve, See you on the server soon.

I never watched it regularly, but I was aware of the show. I just didn't care for it during its run.

He's lost it.
