Well I got it as do several of you guys...it is a great game and we thought a place to talk about the game would be nice.

WOW...I have been hunting for BattleField Vietnam ALL OVER the area I live and it is SOLD OUT! Just my luck..................Looks like they are sold out at least 40 miles away...but never fear I am expanding my search!I maybe taking a road trip :twisted:

No the update is/was required IF you wanted to use it. Basically meaning the old version would not work with the new version on the server. It is not required to play.

We are not extremely happy as the new license agreement was geared toward companies making money which we clearly do not. We may be looking for another solution for voice coms and this could start to be a problem for what had promise to be a truely great voice coms program. Stay tuned for updates. I am also a WWIIOL gamer..or atleast have been. I turned my account off again but I think my stats are still there. I was a major leader in the German Army under the name radarcop from my old patrol days. Anyway I miss my WWIIOL from time to time but DC is a FUN game. I played with a group of tactical bomber called KGBB. I had an official rank in the community of General in the German Airforce and Col. in the Army. I was one hell of a Stuka pilot. If I can help you with FA, DC or even WWIIOL please feel free to let me know.

Man I want it but it maybe a few days before I secure funding. Strobes called me today and told me he had it...he said the music was very cool because the people riding with you could hear what you are listening too as long as you have the standard music. He noted you can put your own music in a directory the only hit is other people would not be able to hear your custom music.I saw somewhere in a review it was a snipers game. :twisted:

We did away with trial for everyone because it was a logistical problem for us in the SC/Admins.

We need to check into if DC will work on BF:V if so can people that have the basic BF and the DC mod play on a server running BF:V w/ DC.

DCX..If that is what you are talking about. Then yes you can still play the regular DC.

Shultz I dont think people pinging your system locked you up. Unless you are not on a router then someone could be trying to get in your system. I would suggest a good router like a linksys.BTW certain admin tools display IPs and it could be those programs automatically getting your IP and not person doing a tracert to you. If you are concerned about these things as I am many are I suggest a good site on that we have a link to called practically networked and broadband reports. On BBR they have a good security forum that I hand out in from time to time.

They actually make those for some of the MP5s.

Well until I researched this I too thought they made it to strong. After finding out the ballistics I felt a little better about it. I think they should take another look at the CAR15 however. The .223/5.56 is a powerful little round that would come close to the VSS in my mind. Not to mention that may even things out a little.
