  1. So how did it go?????
  2. [TA]-Me give me that link a month or so ago...we talked about when we won the lottery which ones we were getting.
  3. Was it the part about the USSR falling to the ground? That is what happens when the gov. gets almost all of your money and spends it how they see fit. I am not so far right that to think there can be a nation with not taxes. I know we need taxes for such things as military and limited social programs (LIMITED being the key word). Ky do you not feel that it is better for the people to spend their money rather than have the powers that be take it and do what they want with it? I just dont get it I guess.Ky, in the past have you not said people were better off under communism? If not I am sorry....I just thought you said something along those lines before. If so which party would you feel the most like what you would support IF you were in this country? What are your thoughts from and outside view on our social programs ( I know you hate Bush) but I mean on a larger scale than one man....our parties and policy.
  4. Amen brother Strobes! People paying their own way in life and less taxes....wow what a concept.
  5. You are talking about state level programs for the most part.
  6. Gator ask me to post this........We are going to test mod or a mod you might say. It is basically DC with more stuff. You will need to download this file, but we are shooting toward a Saturday test. Here is the link to download. http://69.93.1.188/downloads/Tanelorn_DC_mod.zip
  7. HAhahaha....Good one Gator!I am talking from an ideals stand point of the party not about the war. Just the social programs....more taxes? We need more? Most of us pay 33% or more. Why not 90% and let the feds tell us who to work for or if he can have children. I am not as much a republican as I am a big time conservative. My conservative views just seem to be aligned with that of the more right leaning part of the republican party. The war is another story....Dems views on Daddy's War are just propaganda because they cant come up with a good reason not to keep tax cuts our president pushed through among other social factors. As for my Democrats = Communist ...that is mostly directed toward the far left.... I guess I should have clarified. The other not so left leaning are more socialist. Me on the other hand am about as far to the capitalist side as you can get. Something about working for what you get rings close to my heart not to mention views I hold close from my religion. Not to mention my views against:Gun control (that does not even work)Abortion (I am not one of those pro-life extremist..just think it is wrong)Same sex weddings / allowed insurance Taxes to fund social programs for people that do not want to workWeak defence spending by the democrats (a proven historical fact)These are the basics of a conservative....which Bush falls into most of the above things I support. I will say that he drifts to the middle on some issues like our borders. I am a stern critic of Bush on the part of leaving our border unprotected. That policy is not that of true conservative, but hey 1 or 2 bad points beats left wing people like Dean who support everything I am against...not to mention all but saying we should wave teh white flag when faced with an enemy of our country.PS.. Mr Bangbang please note my original post in your other thread....as you can can see Gator and I disagree on heated issues such as these but are still friends. We just keep each other in check and get some good laughs. You can show your dad this thread.
  8. Well it is interesting to hear the "boo" from the democrats on keeping tax cuts. Just another way to show their true colors. After watching this speech and watching the reaction from Democrats I can honestly say I am VERY proud to be a member of the Republican Party and an American. I also like GW's touching on these left wing judges allowing all of these moronic ideals to be pushed forward. He stopped short of saying there should be terms put on judges but I can see it may be coming...none to soon.As for the rest I could ramble on for days how I feel Democrats are very close to communism. I think we should pay fewer taxes with less social programs and democrats want to tax you as much as possible to keep their money and dole it out to who they want to have your money....just like the USSR did with medical, food, and other services during the cold war and after. Granted the democrats have not got to that level as of yet but only because of republicans keep them in check. Again if anyone did not watch this State of the Union I strongly suggest watching it on tape if you can. Take not to who stays seated and on which topics and make your own mind up. If you are looking toward the Pres from the back the Republicans are on the far right side of the room and Dems on the left.As for the work pass program I do have a few problems with....I see his point but I think it needs some major work. I think GW knows this......[/rant]Thank you SOOOO much for opening that up for me to get this off my chest....Marshal and I didnt play tonight just so we could watch this! I had things to say and my wife had heard my rants all she could stand.

  10. Well I am a State Police officer (Agent) in Alabama and work vice. My step-son and I both play and makes for great bonding not to mention my hand-to-eye stays sharp. As if the bonding was not enough, Marshal learns more about computers and has fun doing it. He wants to be a police officer now but if something changes he could always work on computers for $75 per hour.I agree there are more things in life than playing a game all day, but a few hours a day is ok. You should ask him to try it or another game if not this one. Oh also let him know about how many people from other places in the world you play with and how much you learn about other people and places. We have people that play here from every corner of the world. As for what I add to the community...........Well I come posting pictures from work all the time...with and anti-drug message. I also try to find the latest security threats and post them so your computers do not end up with a virus/trojan crashes your system. I talk to people about their networks...just the other day I helped Sam get a wireless networking going for him and his dad. Did I mention from time to time we talk about political issues? We have people on both ends of the issues.....Me on the far right (republican) and Gator somewhere in the middle to left (claims to be democrat  ) or maybe independent....hhahaha Anyway we all still get along great even though we disagree about things like that. You learn team work and to get along with people even if they dont think like you. Something you MUST have to live in the world today.- Mac comes here teaching people how to work on computers.- Gator....has got to be one of the most patience of any one I know....he tends to rub off on people. Not to mention what he could teach you about web pages and servers.- Joe Black would most likely be able to answer any religious type question you might have. Not to mention giving some good advice in general.- Kingpin is in Germany and speaks both english and german. He also played on some type of semi-pro or pro football team. - Never Surrender - Can work in flash (more computer stuff) he also knows how to work on web pages ( he is from the UK)- Strobes - another cop - Born-to-Die - speaks like 5 or more languages. He lives in Europe. (Belgium I think). I could ramble on for days.................[TA]-StateCop (age 26)[TA]-Marshal (age 13)

Just checked the FA server and it is full...Mac is in there and other TA members....

Joe and any one else having problems with DC..........I am more than happy to talk you guys through any technical problems. I will even call you on my dime to help out. As for FA well....It is not just TA members not playing FA. If one or two TA members get on and nobody else is playing....how fun is that? Well for me...not very much. The leadership is still going strong...we all have been working a lot. I for one have had only 1 full day off since the new year. This being the second. I plan to play today IF anyone is on the server. Also I think you guys should look at the fact of steam release which wrecked almost every FA server the night it was released. Just think about it guys...It is not the fault of the TA leadership that nobody is playing on FA as much.

She was the one that thought I was Bill Clinton right?
  16. True but it looks good. I am wondering if it is not just a repackaged retail mod with a few tweaks from the main BF42.

Oh ok...So after you put one in that doesnt work then you put another game it will work? If that is the case my problem is not the same. When you go to my computer and click explore on the CD drive does anything show up? Not all CD's have autorun. WINXP has a feature to open the cd in the first folder but not all work. Have you tried to open it manually?

    Welcome!

I think there is a bug with XP. I had a similar problem with my GPS software on my laptop. Sometime it shows up then sometime it doesnt. I actually replaced the CD drive and it worked for a while then the same thing happened again. So I am going to reformat and see if that works. does yours do it with just that disk or all disk. Try another when it is doing that and see what happens. Let me know I am interested. I will post when I have time to reformat and let you know what happens.

  23. Catdady I would stay away from ebay. Most of those are used games and people have the CD key. I would spend a few extra bucks to get a new copy.

What I did was go to the bank. They have a lot lower interest rate. I usually set it up on 1.5 - 2 year payment plans. I always pay it off early like when I get tax return which I am thinking is going to be good this year (BUSH IS THE MAN). I also apply that money with what little I need from the bank. You can get the payments as low as 20-50 a month. I have paid as much as 90 a month but I got A LOT more money and bought the top of the line system...which I put together myself. - Anyway shop around for the parts to do it yourself. - Take money you have saved for the project- Go to the bank for the rest* DO NOT do what I did last time. Get the CPU that is 1 - 2 steps lower than the fastest on the market at that time...you will SAVE A LOT! Also go with DDR over RAMBUS
