May I say something? When I am mad about insane lag - I yell (mostly off mic). When I suspect someone's hacking or cheating (or maybe it's just that I suck) - I complain. I sometimes speak Polish, just because then I can complain faster. BUT I try to have fun and keep my behavior as close to the server rules as possible. I know I sometimes fail. But 5 seconds after I take my headphones off and cool down, I realise that it is a game I was just playing. I did not bet money on the results. My children's lives were not at stake (not that I have any that I know of ). I will not get arrested, imprisoned, sentenced and put to death for my K : D ratio being less than 1.00. I am not in DoL. I am not in TA. I am in this cuckoo Star Wars clan. But I respect the people I play with. ESPECIALLY when I know these people for a longer time. Sometimes I join the game JUST BECAUSE I see a friendly TA or DoL name on the server info in STEAM. Please everyone, FA lets you put your everyday problems aside. Don't make it a place where new ones arise. I'll let you all in on a secret. When I am really REALLY R E A L L Y mad about the game... I quit! As simple as that. If you think it's all a conspiracy against you, just press the reset button, and before you know it YOU WILL COOL OFF. IT WORKS! After those 5 minutes it takes to reboot, launch Windows, then STEAM, then connect, you will want to PLAY again and NOT to have issues. Let there be more LOLs and less STFUs Peace. Reverend Bane. Well, the last time I updated my drivers, my vid card control panel in Windows went crazy on me, so I had to go back to the previous version, I admit that. But D3D I can't even try, since the game crashes on load all the time, I don't even have a chance to try run it in software mode.Damn.bane.

Half-Life crashed three times in a row already, which resulted in two restarts, but it still didnt help me in receiving my quality FA time. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU STEAM PEOPLE!!! First rule of marketing - never issue a flawed product. Unless you're strong in customer support.

Maybe it would be a good idea to add a wishlist or a poll of some kind to the forums, to vote for the maps people want to play. That way, let's say once per 2-3 weeks, the map cycle would be updated in a true democratic fashion .PS. Omaha owned in 2.7. But then I accidentally played the dod_charlie map in Day of Defeat. Well, Chrome I've seen so far only once, again courtesy of Lazy_M_F. Kinda looks like Unreal 2, but hopefully has a better storyline. Haven't played it though, just saw a few minutes of gameplay by my clanmate. I liked the cool features concerning some vehicles - either you drive, or you shoot. Besides the vehicles were cool themselves. I think I saw three different kinds - a buggy, a motorcycle of some kind and (my favorite) a bipod mech. Maybe some of you guys have played it and can say more, I'm done. Not much judgement there, but I just can't jump to conclusions.Now, this post is a bunch of crap. : : Really, I'm sorry for taking up this webspace, but I was provoked.PS. What's the point of replacing speedball with crates? Both are very small maps, both will suck the same (or be worshipped the same) with 24 players. In my opinion both of those maps are good, but only if you play with less than 20 people. Otherwise the game lags more, there is more chaos than gameplay and I wouldn't even say you get to work on your reflexes, but mostly on your luck. And the other way around - there are maps, that should be played with at least 10 people: marie, golan, best example being coldwar - most of the action usually takes place around the cave. It's a looong run to the cave from the plane (I play on blue), but I imagine the distance is similar for both teams. If only a few people play, this map becomes more Military Olimpics than FireArms - sprinting, hurdles, high jump, and not much shooting, really. Boring. OMG look at the time. Actually, Freelancer is not THAT good. [TK421] Lazy_M_F showed it to me once, and I almost fell asleep. OK, there were like 2-3 good parts of it, but I've seen all of that stuff before in all of those other sci-fi games.Now if you want to play a good game - I suggest you play FIREARMS!!!!! :DPeace.Bane.
