OMG! 7fps! Thats nuts man, but ya know, even if you get a top-of-the-line Card, or even a decent CPU, by today's standards i think a good rate is like 40-50, maybe even more. I overclocked my GeForce FX 5200 128mb (Verto Brand) and it played quite smooth, with 1ghz CPU, and 384mb RAM. Without the overclock the card clocked in at 249mhz engine clock, and 405mhz ddr clock. With the regular fan on the processor i could do 20mhz over just fine. I haven't really tested the limits, and frankly don't want to. I couldn't live with a burnt up video card. There's this nice program you can put a high priority on processing a certain program.... It's called Powerstrip.

ya know effects don't make the player..... Anyway as 10 years of playing guitar i figured out that really the cheapest and best multi-effects pedal has to be the Zoom 505, or the Zoom 505II. It's cheap, but god it sounds good. I love the reverb.

Ya i was thinking the same. I'm going to put C-D in it sooner or later, and have the feature map be tc_evil instead of durandal. Infact I'm working on it right now, getting it all polished up.

i have a Windows Server 2003 box ready to go. Now I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to have Firearms with maps that aren't usually played (unofficial maps, etc.) I don't know about you but durandal gets boring after playing it a ton of times.

Ya it is time for an upgrade on computers.... For christmas im getting 128mb Vid Card. I had a GeForce2 MMX400... but im looking forward to playing HL2 when that comes out in a "few years"

Someone tell me what happened to SnOwCrAsH? Was he caught cheating?By the way, Cheating-Death does work! I even tested it a couple times. I created a server with it running, and used one of those progs from Planet Mayhem, Cheating-Death works, and by the way very well... That's why I play at TA. Hardly any cheats.

I can't seem to stop thinking about DNA too. C-D is on now so i don't think cheating will be a big problem on TA.

Yes I agree.. Like lately I've noticed "suspicious activity" on the DW/TA Server, and totally thought it'd be an interesting challenge. At the same though I think it's an unfair aspect that most people resort to. It's almost like playing against a computer. Infact the computer is practically doing the gaming for you.
